Our dog was due for some injections so we called and made an appointment. We were greeted with a friendly hello and was asked to weigh our dog, I must say she behaved better than expected due to the other dogs in reception. We didn't have to wait long before the vet called us in and gave her a check up before her injections. Very friendly efficient service.

Made an appointment for my dog to have an injection a few weeks ago as we will be placing her in a boarding kennel soon whilst we take a holiday. Firstly, I would have thought that they would look at her records and realise our dog is female and not male, found that a bit strange upon arrival, which by the way was NOT friendly at all. We were told to weigh her, didn't know where the scales were, no assistance given, had to figure it out ourselves. The waiting area is nice and clean, what I didn't like was that all the dog treats are within reach of your dog, very tempting and it was difficult to restrain her from shoplifting. I am sure they are placed their just for that reason, you try it, you buy it!

Considering we have been here a few times now, I found this visit very disappointing, it's not like they were experiencing a long difficult day, as we were their first appointment for the day. No friendly hello, just paperwork and payment and we were on our way. Will be trying another VET next time, very disappointing.

Not the way to retain clients

Dear Shazzbot1
You cannot begin to understand how shattered our staff were to read your review. Our girls are well known for their friendliness, compassion & they way they bend over backwards to help our clients & their animals. After a discussion we are wondering whether your visit took place on a Saturday morning when we had a casual who is not a full time staff member helping out. We would really like to know who it was that served you so that we can address this situation & make sure it doesnt happen again.

With regards to the treats being low that was a decision based on safety. As we discovered previously the plastic baskets containing the treats can break & it is much safer to have them close to the ground in case this happens again. As all dogs are required to be on leads when in the waiting room, we have never had an issue with them accessing the treats. Especially as the reception desk & waiting room was designed to be big enough to keep them away from the treat area.

I hope you understand that providing an excellent service is important to us & we hope you will give us the opportunity to address your concern. Please feel free to contact us either by phone 83883455 or email - [email protected]. Regards from the team at Meadows Vet Centre

My visit was on a Saturday morning, it was the most unfriendly visit I have experienced there (receception that is), the Vet was great, as my dog was a little nervous. As you can see by my previous reviews, I had agreed with you, very friendly and helpful staff, but that was certainly lacking on this visit, she seemed disinterested. As for the treats, my dog was on a lead, but the treats are positioned perfectly for them. I am sorry that your staff were upset by my review, but it is the truth, it was an extremely disappointing visit.

The staff here are so friendly and helpful, they make you feel at ease. We have taken our dog here a number of times including getting her micro chipped, they were so caring and gentle with her, certainly made us feel better. There prices are quite reasonable, great location. Highly recommend.

Had to take my cat to them one Saturday after hours as they were the locum for the area that day. The vet met me at the clinic, assessed my cat without making me feel like an over-concerned parent, administered treatment and gave me advice for the next two days. The fee for the service was surprisingly small but settling the bill ended up being complicated. Gentle vet who was kind to my elderly and unwell animal.

Approximate cost: $180

They are the nicest caring people. We have taken our dog here many times and they took such great care of her. She doesn't really like strangers, but didn't have a problem with them. This is a new location for them and it is much better than their previous place of business. They provide so many services such as pet grooming and cat boarding. I highly recommend them.

Helpful friendly staff, knowledgeable vet who is reliable and competent and easy to get on with, great with animals. Nice new building, much better than the older one they had been in for years. A bit more expensive that some other vets.

The staff are very good, and they have an after hours service, which is hard to find in the hills. The cost is normal - like any other vet. They don't take any chances, and are very thorough.
