Meat at Billy's

The service at Billy's is excellent. I have bought everything from sausages to whole rumps and every time they have been very helpful, offering to cut any way i would like, and advice on how to prepare the meat.

Yes, the prices are more expensive, but you do get excellent service.

I had not been a customer until last week m although my son was a regular. The service from
Billy was like that of my butcher of 50 years ago. Friendly, smiling and so very, very helpful.
The meat was so superior to any that I have purchased from supermarkets (sorry to the local supermarkets, but it's true), Perhaps I have just been unlucky with my purchases in the other stores??? I have now started purchasing for a housebound neighbour, and I would never recommend anything unless I was sure of the quality. Well done Billys!

After being deprived of a good, affordable butcher in Ashgrove for months after the last guy moved out [and then The Gap butcher closed as well!], I am tickled pink about the new owner... Meat @ Billy's is the name of the new store, and I can only give them a positive recommendation. The man makes killer sausages, all cuts of meat are tender and fresh, and Billy himself is a total gem. The prices are great, and everything is of the highest quality. It was a bummer having only Coles + Woolies to buy meat from locally, so Billy is an absolute godsend.
