Fantastic coffee and friendly staff. There's sometimes a bit of a queue but it's worth the wait.
Card fee for transactions <$10 is a little annoying.

The coffee here is amazing, hence the long queue in the mornings. My favourite is having a capp or a iced latte! yum!

You know you've gotten a good coffee when you feel refreshed after the first few sips. Friendly staff with great banter. They do have a $10 min. on EFTPOS but I'll usually buy more than 2 items anyway.

Love getting my morning coffee from the team at Mecca. Their coffee tastes great and their service is quick and personal. They are quite busy but the service and consistent taste always makes me go back. Love it!

I guess a coffee is KING when it comes to sitting relaxing and meeting up with that special someone. This place rocks with fragrances and lines and busy handed baristas from very early in the morning. Even in the cold dead of wee hours, this place sees the die hards sitting in wind and rain in draughty king st. While imbibing every now and again from this coffee station, I am now more of an observer to the demon of coffee. I am now in a situation where I look for alternatives and this place has very few for the non imbiber. What if you enjoy the surrounds and the fragrances wafting through the air or the buzz or the centrality of this place but cannot find a suitable substitute while your friend drinks to satiate his addiction. I am waiting for some non carbonated, non processed bottle of juice some non empty calorie bottled fizz water to find its way to my dry mouth in these places. Warm mouth lyrical substances that will keep me found very happy with my friend, the coffee addict. Mecca is so central to so much and service is quick but the line ups difficult when you are in a hurry which all of sydney is.

Was about 2pm when I went for my large skim mocha and the place was pretty busy. The people behind the counter were not unpleasant but also didn't stand out as good service.
It seemed that if you were a regular you got better service than others.
The coffee was good, but not the best I've had.

Great consistent coffee but very popular so expect to queue during peak periods but it is definitely worth it! Some food items also available for a light meal. Try the siphon coffee for something different!
