Mega Meats

we have been here a number of times and have been suprised each time with the quality of the meat. We have had some good cuts and others not so good. The price is reasonable and they seem very friendly. Only problem with This store is you cant choose your meat so it is pre-packed which is a shame if you only need an extra 100grams.

I would highly recommend.

A smaller corner shop compared to the big store in Latrobe St.

Still provides the same good value and good quality just in a more convenient location if you live in the middle of town.

Great meat, generally cheaper than the big supermarkets.

The only drawback is all the meat is already packaged in the Styrofoam and glad wrap, if you prefer to 'pick your meat' then the Latrobe St. store is more suited to you.

The store is always clean and all the meat is well displayed in the cooling bays.

My two favourites are the hickory smoked pork chops (tasty bbq smokey flavour) and the marinated pork spare ribs (Best thing to put on the bbq when the weather is nice).
