The worst fence we have ever had!!!!! Do not get the company to build a paling fence! Ours cracked, buckled and started leaning within weeks of completion. When we complained to the company we were told that is what happens with a natural material!! What a load of rubbish! If you start with inferior timber then have it erected by people who don’t know what they are doing you end up with a VERY inferior product. Do not go near this company unless you want loads of problems!

Unless you want headaches for months on end, would not recommend. Quality of the product was good but customer service was absolutely terrible. Took countless unreturned phone calls to get in touch with head office to ask about the progress of the job. The gentleman in charge was near impossible to speak with as he rarely answered his phone and only returned calls when being hassled by messages and emails. Made promises to show up and complete the fence on certain days and didn’t show up with no calls at all to let us know. This went on for 4-5 weeks. Only after saying the job would be done for free if not done in the next week was our fence put up. Once job was completed they suddenly had time to call and message us almost daily to get their payment. Wasn’t happy with the shoe on the other foot when they needed something from us and we decided not to make contact. Would not recommend to friends also building homes as the hassles and headaches just weren’t worth the months of waiting for a fence. First inquiry/quote was put forward in June/July and fences were not done until the end of November. Shouldn’t be left living in a home with no fences for that long when you have paid for a job to be done.

Would not recommend at all, steer clear. Recently had some fencing done and after completion it started to come apart. Contacted [redacted] to fix and after 5 weeks still not done. He has made numerous appointments to come over to rectify but never turns up and never calls on the day. Poor quality workmanship, poor customer service, appalling business acumen.

Called numerous fence companies to replace an existing timber backyard fence in Niddrie. Most companies did not even bother to call back despite having impressive websites.
Called Melbourne Fence Company they came out the next day and followed up with a written quote two days later.
Four weeks later my neighbour and I have a premium quality shared 2m x 15m timber paling fence at a great price. Thank you Melbourne Fence Company.

Really good Experience. Friendly staff and above board contractors. The quality of materials was also a better factor. I highly recommend these guys!
