Not professional. I first time went to there because my rabbit had fracture of left hind leg, but doctor said that rabbit did not have fracture when she saw rabbit and asked me back home. After I told her something, she said that rabbit had fracture and must be here overnight to take x-ray.
Next day, they did surgery for my rabbit. When my rabbit left clinic, they did not give me any information how to care rabbit.
Before surgery they told me that right hind leg ( no fracture) can stand up and walk in two weeks, but after surgery they told me that right hind leg can not stand up and can not walk 80%。
I am very unhappy.

The review staff pool are amazing, thoughtful and compassionate. They gave us options when our dear guinea girl died. They then were very fair and kind with their billing.
Thank you Melbourne Rabbit Clinic for the most thoughtful card. It blew us away to recieve this in the mail today. We are so happy to have Buttercups foot prints, cherished forever.

When my rabbits were ill or to even ask a question Melbourne Rabbit Clinic are there, caring and friendly and professional. They specialise in rabbits and have in depth solid knowledge of how to treat rabbits with various illnesses. Their services are value for money, unlike other vets who don't have the knowledge of how to treat rabbits. I'm indebted to this clinic. They saved my bunny who had renal cancer and removed her kidney, and she is doing remarkably well one year later. Dr Narrelle Walter is an amazing VET and surgeon. Dr Zoe, too. And the wonderful nurses Sharn and Holly, as with the rest of the staff. I fully recommend Melbourne Rabbit Clinic to everyone who owns rabbits and guinea pigs.

My rabbit has been a sick a couple of times this year and I have taken him both times to the Melbourne Rabbit Clinic to see Dr Zoe. It's a fantastic place for rabbits and guinea pigs, they have so much knowledge and I have total trust in the doctors here.

It's a fantastic clinic specially for Rabbit and Guinea pig. receptionists are helpful and kind, vets are all very professional in Rabbit. We came to the clinic first time, impressed by their service and vets' rich knowledge in Rabbit. They did first time general check up, x-ray, and they explained the problems in very detail level.

One word - Brilliant! Cannot recommend this place highly enough. We were at our wit's end with our matronly 5 year old piggie - hair loss, lack of appetite and all sorts of other little symptoms. Our regular vet, though wonderful with the dogs and cats etc might have operated on our girl for no reason if we hadn't have come here. Diagnosed with mites and an arthritis condition with infected skin, we were able to have her feeling better straight away, and take home some antibiotics to treat the other conditions.

Everything was explained to us clearly, and the costs if we wished to go further with blood tests etc. The vet here was just perfect, she "knew" our piggie (and rabbits) and was able to diagnose accurately straight away when others floundered. They really are specialists here. The place is so calm and welcoming - no squeals or squeaks of fright and no smell of other animals (predators) to put the little patients off.

The initial consultation was around $90 and this was a thorough examination of all body parts, and taking the history and then the medication was about $50 more. Funny thing was, our other guinea pig was at the local vet earlier in the day, getting a similar medication and this cost more than the Rabbit Clinic. Their dedication to these specialized groups of animals really pays off in knowledge.

The drive here was awful through all the traffic though, try and get an appointment outside peak hours. They are open later than 5.00 pm on a Thursday night and on Saturday morning. It's a small place and chock full of information and cute toys and food for rabbits and guinea pigs. Car park at the back.

You fill out forms on the patient and can get your own vet to email the history of the animal.

The warmth and care of all staff here shows through and they all have their own pets. We had to wait a short while as there was an emergency which had to be attended to. But we were made to feel welcome and our guinea pig treated as a special little individual at all time.

So glad I found this place. They are truly interested in the welfare of rabbits and guinea pigs and certainly saved our girl an unnecessary operation with its own anesthetic risks.

I have a bunny who had been sick on and off seen purchasing him from a lovely breeder. Several trips to several vets later no particularly cause had been found. On a very off day for my bunny i rang the Melbourne Rabbit Clinic. Not only where they able to fit my little man in for a check up, they where able to offer a short hospital stay for x rays/ subcut fluids/ blood test and medications. Now i was very impressed with the service, advice/ wonderful staff and the thorough health check of my bunny. He has since been treated for his possible life threatening problem, and recently treated for his ongoing underlying problem and is doing very well.

Now they may get busy, but please realise all vet clinics have this happen and that is not a bad thing. That means they are an highly experienced clinic at treating rabbits and guinea pigs, otherwise they would not have a large clientele.

I am more than happy to recommend Melbourne Rabbit Clinic, and although you may think it prices are expensive, the only real difference is you may pay a little more for a consult, but there prices otherwise are not to much different from other clinics or what you can expect to pay for a cat or dog having treatment. They are highly experienced in what they are doing so not only i felt my money was well spent, our vet trips have decreased hugely as he has been getting the correct treatment for his conditon. It is fantastic to see that there is somewhere, WHERE DEDICATED rabbit/guniea pigs owners can take there pets to.

Took the sick piggie for a visit. Bills are very expensive. Hospital stay charged for 1/2 day but it's only for 2 hours! Initial consultation fee is $90! Also the vet recommended too many options for a small animal from blood test, x-rays ($200+), ultrasound, surgery and trial treatment..etc.

Approximate cost: $329.00

I love my pets & finding the right vet is just like finding the right GP for yourself. I came to the clinic on a recommendation from another vet. I had just come in possession of a beautiful little 4 year old lop. His first 4 years of life he had been in horrendous living conditions and was in need of love & medical treatment. 7 months on and he is now healthy happy thanks to the staff at the clinic. Any medical procedure is not cheap but it is worth the money with the expertise of this place. They talked me through my different options in regard to cost & risk, I didn't feel like I was pushed or rushed into anything. The follow up and after care the clinic has given me has been professional and a god sent. The clinic does get busy which upsets some people but their treatment is not rushed. Also the printer seems to breakdown as soon as they get busy. But even in these times they always have made sure that all my questions have been answered, no matter how trivial. They also helped me find a girlfriend for my little rabbit a few weeks ago. They have a huge amount of information regarding all things rabbit, housing, behaviour, diet, habbits, training.
