After having an accident we had amazing service from Melville Body Works from beginning to end. We have only ever had service like this from family or family friends. All the pressure was taken off a very stressful situation and we cannot thank them enough.

5 Stars from start to finish. After dropping off my vehicle after someone had ran into my car I was not at fault nor did I have insurance so the other parties insurance paid. Upon arrival I was comfortably given confidence as not only did they give me a hire car as mine would take a few weeks to repair, also a lawyer to act on my behalf for any further issues with the other parties insurer. They were so efficient and customer service is second to none. They did not have to give me a loan car or lawyer as I was not a paying customer. When I picked up my car all repairs were done and inside and outside of my car had been cleaned. As well as a $100 voucher, candle and a key ring. I can not recommend these guys enough, like I said I was not a paying customer it was an insurance job however they still went over and above. This is old school business that unfortunately is rare these days, I honestly couldn’t rate my experience any better. Thank you Melville Body works you are amazing!!!

I must say that the service here is excellent. I came here for a third party repair, and not only did they sort me out with a loan car, but also did a perfect job fixing the front panel of my car along with a respray. It looks brand new. I didn't pay as this was an insurance job but they are on the top end of the scale. However the old adage you get what you pay for probably applies in this setting. I highly recommend them.

I was very unhappy with the level of service I received at this organisation. Initially, they were very friendly and organised our insurance company to come out and assess our car. After they had determined the car to be a write off, I rang to enquire as to how long before it would be repaired, only to find out it had been written off a day previous to my call. (We had not heard from our insurer that this was the case, either.) The following day (i.e. 2 days after it was written off) I rang to arrange to collect my belongings out of the car, only to find it had already been towed away by the salvage yard. I had to go and collect my things, including my roof racks, from the salvage yard. After some enquiries, it was determined that Melville Body Works had arranged the Auto salvage yard to pick up our car, without the knowledge of the insurer, who then had to arrange to reclaim the vehicle to take to their own salvage yard.
On ringing Melville Body works and requesting they retrieve my belongings, and stating that, at the very least, as the owner of the car, I should have been informed that the car was leaving their premisis, their response was less than cordial, in fact downright rude, that it was not their responsibility to retrieve my belongings or inform me of the car being removed. The car was luckily only a 30 min drive away, but it was an hour round trip (as opposed to a 5 min walk around the corner -- the reason I chose them in the first place), whicheck was time I didn't have to spare at that time.
In my opinion, this organisation has acted, at the very least, without a thought to customer service, and at the worst, unscrupulously, and I would not recommend them to my worst enemy.
