Update 02/04/2024: Rupi the director stated he does not have an explanation for the delays nor does he think he needs to provide any reasons to us clients why these delays have occurred.

Additionally, he could not provide us clients with an estimated date for completion of current building works.

Rupi the director stated he no longer wishes to communicate with us clients and he will block our phone numbers from further communication.

We have now initiated formal legal proceedings against Metronest/Sunnyview Homes.

Avoid Metronest/Sunnyview Homes builder at all cost! Our build contract date started on 28/04/2022 and our build has not reached lock up stage after nearly 2 years. Rupi the director only cares for good news stories - he does not know how to support his team with the progression of a mismanagement build resulting in significant delays.

Contract signed 21/12/2020.
- Contract start date 28/04/2022.
- Construction start date 11/06/2022.
- Agreed construction completion date 05/04/2023 as per original contract terms stipulated as 342 days including delays.

Construction works timeline:

- Slab poured on 11/06/2022
- Framework ground floor completed on 09/11/2022.
- Framework double storey completed end of February 2023.
- Fascia & gutter installed on 24/03/2023 with incorrect colour fascia as Monument instead of White.

Metronest/Sunnyview Homes received Stop Work Order effective from 5pm on 28/03/2023 - construction works have been completed without obtaining a stage 2 building permit.

- Windows installed on 07/06/2023 with incorrect colour windows as Monument instead of White.
- Brickwork completed early August 2023.

Stage 2 building permit approved 29/08/2023.

- Roof first floor completed end of November 2023.

Metronest/Sunnyview Homes changed supervisor for the third time on 29/11/2023.

- Weatherboard cladding completed on 26/02/2024.

- Downpipes installed on 11/03/2024 with inconsistent downpipes mixing round and rectangle shaped downpipes.

They are very very slow and cheap quality …
