Being a medium-dark natural brunette and having blonde highlights for years, I've had a lot of experience with some very reputable hairdressers. Since moving from Sydney to Melbourne , i still havent found a FANTASTIC hairdresser in the last 6 years and decided to give Miles & Wilson a go! I found this salon experience to be exactly what I was finally looking for, and have had so many compliments on my haircolour to date. Virginia, the hair colourist, achieved great results so quickly too- i walked into the salon sat at a communal table whilst perusing through magazines and had an entire tint and highlights put through my hair. I was out of the salon in 1hr and 20mins with a dry off that was a pretty good style too ( just as a comparison, in previous salons i would wait up until 4-5hrs to have the entire job completed!) Overall the ambience of this hairdresser is calming, friendly and comfortable and the quality of haircolour and hairstyling is great. Highly recommended!

I love going to see these guys - they are very professional and do a great job. I've recently changed from blonde to red and they were really good with the consultation and ensuring I was totally happy with the colour. Love my chats with Amanda too - always have a good laugh, so if you want great hair and to be entertained, ask for Amanda. Also saw Shona the new beauty therapist today and was really happy with her too and her recommendations for treatment.

Fantastic haircut by Virginia, would definitely go back there and ask for her to do my hair, friendly and great hairdresser.

She ask me what I wanted and then give me her advise on what to do which I agreed first and the result was fantastic...what else can you ask for :)

I was amazed that they did exactly what I asked them to at a professional standard and with a friendly attitude. everything from the set up design of the store to the quality of service was wonderful. I had always been skeptical of hairdressers from many bad experiences but they just got a client for life because I was very pleased.

Virginia does wonderful colour! Amanda and Ashleigh & John are really friendly, without being fake. It is easy to get an appointment. i can pop in weekly for an 18 minute $18 blow wave..and if your fringe gets too long, you can pop in for a trim free of charge - awesome, makes the whole deal a pleasure.

iI have been a client of Miles Wilson for many years and people often comment on how flattering my hair colour and cut are.

Really great experience, the staff were helpful and honest. as I wasn't sure what to get, my hairdresser told me what she thought might suit and we bounced ideas from there, gave me a lot of confidence for a change in hairstyle, she also showed me how I could maintain it so it didn't just look good in the salon!

I have been going to Miles Wilson for my haircuts and colour since I came from Sydney. For the first time I had a service in their beauty room. It is a beautiful space, tucked upstairs away from the hussle and bussle of the salon. The salon offers great packages and for $99 I could not resist a little bit of spoiling. The facial was divine, Karly has such a lovely professional touch. Her massage was also wonderful. I certainly will be back for more beauty.

As I am elderly they really looked after me in every way and could not be more happier with the service. The cut and style was very suitable for my age. The friendly staff gave me a nice cup of coffee which they give to all their clients.
