I have been going to Mishka for quite a few years now. Michelle always does my hair and I have no issue with letting her choose the cut and colour, I trust her judgement and she is yet to disappoint. The only thing for me is their prices seem very inconsistent but if I questioned that I am sure it would be explained. Staff are very friendly. I always hated going to the hairdresser before I found Mishka. Another great benefit is that they don't try to sell you products unless you express interest in them. Mishka has moved to Riddells Creek and I will be driving there, definately worth the drive.

I had a great experience at mishka last week, finally i have found the salon for me.Mish did my colour and i love it, the cut was really nice and i can manage it myself. Nat did my blow wave and it looked beautiful. Very happy i found mishka and easy going girls to laugh with who are very passionate and talented at what they do. Im going back for sure

I use to go to Mishka a few years back and was quite happy with Michelle the owner and head hairdressor, she did a great colour on me and she has alot of experience. The only reason I stopped going is because Michelle was sick of doing the same colour on me and because I was reluctant to branch out and try something that she suggested (although mind you she couldn't tell me or show me a picture of the colour she wanted me to go) she then suggested that perhaps I try somewhere else if I wanted to. I was quite shocked and upset at this suggestion. I am not an argumentative or nasty person so I never went back because I felt that she didn't want to do the same colour on my hair anymore because she was bored with it. Umm, the funny thing in all this is everytime I went in that salon she always had the same hair colour and style. If i was rude and inappropriate or threatening I could understand if an owner of a business suggest you go else where. Extremely dissappointed.

New to Melbourne, I needed to find a new hairdresser, beauty therapist, doctor etc etc. I have relied on this website for suggestions, Mishkas was one of them and I was not disappointed. I went in for a cut and colour. The team are very friendly and professional. I'll definitely go back!

I was looking for a new hairdresser and went to Mishka mainly on the reviews from this website. I was not disappointed! All the staff were friendly, and I am very pleased with the colour and cut I came out with.
I will definitely be going back and recommend them to everyone!

I have been a customer of Mishka's for approx 6 years and from the moment I walk-in I receive service that is fit for the stars! (and its not just me - they treat all their clients like this!). I never have to worry about how my hair turns out & I have one of the most difficult head of hairs out there - trust me!! Whether I'm wanting to go lighter or darker or completely different - I always know the end result is going to be amazing!! I have just recently moved to live in the gold coast & I am dreading having to go to another hairdresser - I honestly don't know how I am going to go with having another hairdresser go near my hair!! So if you are looking for a great hairdressers in Melbourne - Mishka's is def the way to go! The staff are FABULOUS The quality is AMAZING & the experience is SECOND TO NONE!!

I went to Mishka because they look after my friends hair and it always looks great.
I was really impressed with my colour and my cut it was what i wanted but thought my hair was not able to do it.
Mish was so professional and new what she was doing which made feel at ease.
The other girls are sooo nice and and made me feel comfortable and welcome.
My colour has had so many comments and and i can actually style my hair myself for once, so happy with my visit and my result thanks chickies

Thinking I should branch out and try a local salon, I made an appointment at Mishka based on a number of positive reviews on line. I have fairly easy hair to deal with, it's long, healthy, straight.......any hairdressers dream you'd think??

Unfortunately my experience at Mishka fell way below expectations.
The staff were relatively nice and warm, although irritating when every girl commented on how 'hot' my cut was when it was clearly nothing special?

I cringed as my hair was being cut, noticing the technique being used. I could instantly tell this cut was going to be a mistake. Which it was.

My learning from this experience is that I will go back to a reputable salon, with highly skilled staff, who remain current with their techniques. You pay for what you get...

I am quite fussy with my hair and hate trying new hairdressers. Looked on WOMOW and found some positives for Michelle of Mishka. Hadn't used this site before but needed a good hairdresser urgently, most people have a different idea of 'good' to me.
Was quite nervous going but it turned out to be a positive experience. All of the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, Michelle was amazing, can't remember being this happy with a stylist before. Both cut and colour are great, more than happy to recommend to others - that is a first!

I was searching for a hair stylist after years of disappointing haircuts and came across Mishka on this website. I was very excited coming up to my appt and had high expectations. Well, I wasnt disappointed at all. Michelle was every bit as friendly and professional as she was described to be. She did really listen (as much as she could to my incoherent explanation of what I wanted!), which is a first for me from a hair stylist.

I was very pleased with my haircut, although I dont think its 100% yet, I look forward to a continued relationship with MIshka to develop it! And not to mention my first real hair colour too!
