I have been going to this place since 2003.
I bought 1 metre of mushroom compost today and they charged me $45 for delivery fee. I live 400 metres from the shop.
I will start shopping elsewhere
The staff here are fantastic. Very helpful when your question is within their knowledge base. Prices were on the high side. I wouldn't buy there unless I was either in a hurry or just needed one thing for a job I was in the middle of.
Weekend opening hours are good, service is good and staff are friendly. For a smaller mitre 10 they have a pretty good range of items and are handy to get to for an emergency.
I have purchased smaller items from here like screws, nails etc and would go back if i needed items for building etc
I found the prices all increased when the new owners took it over. I would only spend there if I can't get to a Bunnings etc or needed just one mall item
Not a bad store as far as Mitre 10 is concerned. The staff are friendly and the opening hours are god for that weekend emergency. The prices and range are quite good but if you can get a bargain out of the catalogue you will be in business.
I regularly shop here as there s no Bunnings in my area. The staff are super nice and very helpful. I could drive down the road to Bunnings but I like the service here and dont mind paying a bit extra to get it.
