I had a wonderful experience here with my friends recently and I would love to go back. The karaoke was great--there were a lot of songs available on the list and the remote control wasn't too hard to figure out how to use as it was similar to the remotes in other karaoke places. The food was also pretty good, although the servings were small, and I honestly had a great experience.
The karaoke here was a great experience and the fact that it was free with a $20 meal in that specific period of time made it very good value and fun for all.
Awesome karaoke and Japanese restaurant! Ambience is clean and Japanese-style. There are plenty of Karaoke rooms that are spacy so it's great for a night out with a group of friends.
Although the atmosphere is nice, and they take good care of the quality of their foods, it's very expensive here. I would only come here if I need to take friends to a clean Karaoke restaurant with decent ambience good enough for a birthday party. It's not a place I'd come to without a special occasion I need to cater for.
I must say that I was disappointed when I came here to eat with a friend-- everything was rather expensive and wasn't really worth the price tag... The green tea ice cream tasted of powder and the little slice of strawberry on the top seemed to be the only good thing about the dessert I ordered... I would rather eat at other restaurants when it comes to the price and quality.
Had my 22nd birthday & hired out the largest room for 40+ people & had an awesome time.
We had a $40 per person minimum for karaoke, food & drinks + 10% surcharge
We loved being able to order from the screens & have the food continue to come as we drank & sang.
Unfortunately they do not have as much song variety as other karaoke places but the food was good. Drinks were very watered down - not much alchohol.
I had a great experience w/ helping me out w/ my booking by a girl called Cherry.
I'm trying to plan a 21st there for about 30 people and was just trying to see if it was worth it.
Did you find that the 40 pp limit was enough to cover everyone or did you end up going over and paying extra?
you're help would be awesome!
Put simply, when compared to Mizuya and Wagaya (considering they have similar concepts with the touch screen menu), I personally prefer Wagaya better because it's better value for money and has more variety of food and drink.
Amazing Japanese food available here and if your into Karaoke they also have that available. Pretty expensive but definately worth it.
A great restaurant - the karaoke was definitely a great novelty to add in and made it much more fun. The dishes were all very nice - just a bit pricey but otherwise, I will certainly be coming here again!
I went to this restaurant for the first time for my birthday. I had a great experience. You order through a touchscreen menu which the waiter will teach you how to use if it is your first time eating at Mizuya. They have quite a wide selection of dishes. However for lunch you are only limited to set menus and side dishes. Overall this restaurant was great, the food and ambiance was nice, I would definitely go back.
