I’d give zero stars if l could.
My pure bread Great Dane went in for an ACL a week before Xmass. I still haven’t had any contact from the clinic. No follow up what so ever. $4,800 & his now dead at 5yr old. The vet placed him on tablets that put holes in his stomach. Xmass night we spent celebrating his life instead of celebrating Xmass. Their service may be good but there after care once they have your money doesn’t exist.
Never again, my mates gone & my word off mouth will forever be positive again.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I definitely do not recommend this clinic to absolutely anyone. We have brought our dog here numerous times in attempt to breed her through AI at this clinic due to their “promising success rate”. I personally have found this clinic to be unprofessional and a complete rip off. After coming in for progesterone tests and being told to come back the next day multiple times (despite her levels being too low to rise within the next day or so)- it began to seem like they were just trying to get money out of me, however I wanted to breed my dog so I followed their instructions and came back when told to. When I had come in for the progesterone test, I was asked if I wanted to take the blood to the lab for faster results, and as I live about an hour away- I decided that would be best for me to reduce wait time for results. The vet handed me my dogs blood samples along with all of the other blood samples taken from other animals within the clinic to take with me.. not professional at all. The breeding process was unsuccessful costing upwards of $1000.
Most recently Myself and my dad had brought my dog here and saw [redacted due to personal identifier] on the 28th of Jan 2022 asking for an ultrasound to be done to see if naturally mating my dog had been successful. He was nothing short of rude and unpleasant to deal with. When leaving I asked for the price and was told $295. My father questioned the steep price only to be told they had also done an X-ray - this was never discussed prior nor asked for. My dad understandably was unhappy and not willing to pay for both as the X-ray was not asked for and it had not been the first time he was wrongly over charged.
After requesting to only be charged for the ultrasound and giving the amount to the receptionist he left. I was then told he is no longer welcome at this clinic again.

After seeing other reviews I am not shocked to see that others have had terrible experiences at this clinic as it is overpriced and overall a crap place to bring pets when they need care.

I have taken my cats to this clinic 4, 5 times and the minimum waiting times is 30 minutes from appointment time. The worst part is the staff do not communicate the delay with you so you just sit there waiting and waiting, not knowing when your cat would be seen. My last visit, we waited 45 minutes. They also have a mixed waiting room for both cats and dogs so it was very stressful for my cats to be next to loud and overexcited dogs. I would not recommend this clinic.

Was very excited to be going to a new vet near my new home. Took two dogs there ready to move vets. Was not impressed with the service at all.
On the phone they said to come in and Romeo could receive his arthritis injections and it would just cost for the injection because it was a 2 minute job. After the 2nd injection (4 in total every 6 months) they tried to charge me the consultation fee along with the arthritis shot. It worked out this was going to cost about $1200 a year (triple what my previous vet in Armadale was charging)
When I rang and spoke to a number of people to say I had been misquoted they just didn't care. I asked for the owner to contact me (twice) he never did
They have now missed out on two new dogs at their vet along with me telling people not to go there

I originally used this vet clinic as they were the local vet surgeons (after my cat broke her leg) that my regular vet recommended.
We have never looked back.
The staff and doctors are wonderful; they go the extra mile with pleasure it seems.
When we had to put our cat to sleep many years later, they were incredibly gentle and loving towards us. The even sent a card a few days later.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this clinic to anyone.

I received lots of help and advice when i needed it after hours from this clinic. I emailed them and they responded quickly even though i did not have to pay them. genuine animal lovers!

Wonderful vet clinic for my dogs! The staff are so knowledgeable and many breeders swears by them. Now I know why.

We took our dog here for a surgery that was misrepresented to us in terms of how invasive it was. When we were told to pick our dog up he was still obviously heavily sedated. We were given no information at all about after-care and possible side-effects or complications. As a result, the stitches broke open a few hours later and if it wasn't for the amazing care of the vets at the Animal Emergency Centre in Mount Waverley, he would have bled to death. There was no way to contact the vets at Monash Veterinary Clinic and when we went to see them the next day for antibiotics, that I suggested he might need, they seemed very indifferent and non-apologetic for what happened. The Clinic is very big and feels like a conveyer belt. Would never, ever take any animal here again.
