I always love going to Montalto! Food and service is fantastic and the view is incredible. I highly recommend it for both casual catch ups and special occasions.

I've enjoyed several meals here and they are always tasty and moreish!
Lovely sitting out enjoying the view of the vineyard and the service is flawless.

This place is always busy, so difficult to find an outdoor table when the weather is nice. We ordered 2 pizzas to share, took about 45 minutes to get the pizzas.

We had the most fabulous lunch here you could ever imagine! Ploughman's plate, duck, pork and beautiful Soufflé for dessert. We loved being able to see all the action in the kitchen as well as lovely views over the vineyards from our window seat. It was a pretty pricey lunch I'd have to say, so definitely a special occasion, but well worth it for the quality. Service also terrific with friendly, helpful and knowledgable service staff.

I went to Montalto Vineyard on Thursday with my uni friends, we had lunch over there.. Excellent service and food (I had the Snapper - it was beautifully cooked) and the place has a beautiful view.. it is just perfect!

Helpful man at the cellar and very knowledgeable. Wines were ok, and maybe a bit pricey. They had a sculpture walk open for the public to view which was fun.

Restaurant is at the pricier end of the scale, and given this I would expect faster service and a bit more of a 'wow' from the food.
We enjoyed tasting the many different olive oils and wines on offer, and walked away with a full little bag.

I have been here about 3 times, only in the Summer months, and unfortunately when is very very busy. BUT considering the volume of customers they serve they do a good job. The Piazza area is lovely and under the umbrellas a little further down near the vegetable garden is very nice. The outdoor menu is limited but the food tastes good. They had a lot of art / garden sculptures that you can wander around and look at which is nice (the kids can have a run on the grass too). High chairs seems hard to come by though...but then again it was very busy when we visited. I'm pretty sure that if I had the cash to spend in the fine dining area then my review would be more supportive of a WOW but they are doing ok for now!

Approximate cost: $20

Was expecting a fair bit given that it always gets the write ups about wine and food on the peninsula. It was our anniversary so looking for something special. Great setting and views. Food was solid but not wow. It just lacked that something that would make it memorable. Was expecting more.

Approximate cost: $35

I took an older friend here for her birthday luncheon and she was most impressed having travelled around the world and eaten in many different restaurants she has decided that this is her favourite one.

Approximate cost: $30.00
