Moving Again

My experience

Zero stars (I've tried not to make this sound emotional, just stating what I went through)
This started on the 8th of March paying my deposit, It ended on the 31st of March getting my deposit back.

The pick up was suppose to be on Friday the 10th of March the driver would call 24 hours prior to inform what time he'll be there. I never received the call. No one came on the pick up date.
I tried calling the office and emailing at 4pm (after I finished work) but I didn't get a response until I called on Monday the 13th asking for my deposit back.
I was sent an email Monday afternoon claiming my refund had been processed by a bloke named Henry. I gave them the 5 clearance days (as well as the weekend) before contacting them again.
From the 20th of March I have sent 17 emails with Henry trying to get my Money back. On the 29th Henry replied back to one of my emails telling me they refunded my money to the wrong person.
So I guess it does only take 2 days to receive a refund from Movingagain.

The reception claim that they can't pass on your call to anyone else. It felt useless calling them and I assume they have it setup for this exact reason.
I was honestly surprised to see my money had returned to me on the 31st.

Not one aspect of my experience with Movingagain was positive.
I was the one who had to call them at every step. They didn't reach out to me once, not even when I wanted to go ahead with payment from entering my details on the website.
The only email they sent me was to state someone was coming the next day for the pick up. Which no one did.

At not one point of this experience did I receive an apology, in writing on spoken. The amounts of times I called and emailed they never sounded like this was a strange occurrence for them.

Hopefully I can save you the hustle of dealing with this hack of a company.

This business is just a website which then contacts the actual moving companies once a job is booked.
Using the online website for an initial quote is simple enough as dealing with automated computers tends to lead to the expected outcome.
That is where the positive ends.
It was near impossible to get in contact with these people unless we were providing the payment details.Calls were rarely answered and when they are, reception did their very best to sound annoyed,gave us someone else's email and hung up,regardless of our inquiry.
Company email policy is that they will get back to you within 24 hours.They did not.

Fortunately for me the people actually involved with the move itself were able to give me a direct line of contact and even they found huge difficulties communicating with this second rate service.

Moving again have the worst customer service! After contacting them numerous times to amend the quote they provided so there were no 'hidden extras' I received nothing but here are our banking details, pay your deposit! They were perfectly able to send us those but wouldn't respond to any of my enquiries to amend the quote. I called the contact number and no answer twice. So very misleading and suspicious behaviour from a company. When I asked why they weren't responding they replied with 'we have cancelled your booking as I see we don't see eye-to-eye. What kind of service is that?? Am I not entitled to request an amendment on my quote!! I would never recommend this company and I think it's pretty safe to say that the people who have given them 5stars are probably family and friends of the employees and not legit... much like the their company! This guys made our move interstate incredibly stressful. Once they received our deposit all communication with the company stopped. They turned up 2 days late, could not confirm arrival to our new house- do not use them. Moving is stressful enough. These guys lack of planning professionalism and customer satisfaction is appalling.

DO-NOT USE THESE MUPPETS, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE.... TV SMASHED, DINING TABLE CRACKED. Said its our fault even though we packed exactly the way they told us in a box, foam etc..no compensation [redacted due to offensive comment]. Said 20dys delivery we ended up living in a house for 10dys with NO FURNITURE its now been 27dys after that date and still waiting for some items. Even if you have to pay more do it both sets of removalist's who came pick up and drop off said the were garbage and they were right. Didn't even turn up on the pick up day they quoted lost another days pay waiting for them. Gave me a quote which I paid then said no you owe extra $1500.00 or you wont get your goods DON'T USE them the are the worst. They are the most unprofessional business I have ever used in my life..I CANNOT SAY THIS STRONGLY ENOUGH PLEASE, PLEASE FIND SOMEONE ELSE!!!!!!

Utterly terrible company. Booked a move, paid in full, I made several phone calls and emails the day before our collection date to confirm details and told everything was in order. On the day no-one showed up. I called several times and finally told "yeah we can't make it, sorry we'll give you a refund". Don't even try.

“Used moving again back in June and must say service was excellent. No damage to goods, nothing lost, and done in a speedy fashion. Would recommend to a friend, and will be using them next time I move. Well done.

Absolute garbage company!
Wish I had never heard of Moving Again, thinking of that name makes my blood boil. I ended up transporting items I had not intended to, because they came a day earlier than originally organised and a final sort had not yet been done. TV got left behind and they charged an extra $350 to pick it up. Furniture was not secured in the container and was smashed, as well as eight picture frames smashed damaging the pictures.

I would not recommend this business. I relocated from Sydney to Perth and they lost one of my boxes. Although they told me they'd get back to me and despite emailing and calling them a number of times I never received an explanation or even an apology for my loss.

Terrible level of professionalism and respect for other people and their loss of possessions!
