I have used Moving Mates twice. The first time was 3 years ago, they could not have been better, I gave them a well earned 5 stars. Fast forward to a few weeks ago, we were moving again. I automatically called up Moving Mates, unfortunately this move did not go well.

The first move was harder, we moved from a steep block to a steep block, the second move was from steep block to flat block.

The first crew fully loaded the truck and minimised driving time, this new crew barely filled the truck, wasting time on more trips.

The first crew were very skilled and really active, the new crew required a lot of direction and ambled about slowly.

The first crew moved boxes and all our stuff including outdoor, garage and shed things, the new crew moved no boxes, moved most of our internal furniture but not our washing machine and a few other things. They didn't move anything outside, in the shed or garage.

In the end they moved much less stuff AND they charged me more. I can not recommend them any more, they did a poor job moving far less for more money.

I have tried to communicate with them on this but the owner (Joao Damiani) has ignored most communication, he only sent me 1 email saying they did a good job.

Today DJ and Andrew moved me from Banks to Greenway - it was tough going and quite a big job. They were very friendly and efficient. They took excellent care and had respect for my belongings. Nothing was too much trouble. If I had to move again I would definitely use them and I won't hesitate to recommend moving mates to my friends. Marilyn.

The movers were quick and efficient and moved me in minimum time, was happy with the service, no negative comments so would recommend to friends if they needed moving service.

The guys were really careful with our furniture, they went upstairs disassemble beds and were very friendly. On delivery the beds were reassembled and was easy. Would recommend them anytime.

Our move days was the hottest day and we found the movers to be very friendly and helpful with our move.

I moved home and found the moving guys to be friendly and professional. I didnt have a problem with Moving Mates service and would recommend them to friends and family.

They were great, no issues at all,
We were very happy with everything Moving Mates did and will be already using again for another move soon.

Our move was made easy by Moving Mates and we found the removalists to be on time for our Interstate move.

Do not ever use this company they ripped me off for $1500 wont return emails or txt messages or answer phone calls. Never showed up at all either They now under investigation by the ACCC I have heard other stories like mine.

The guys are very helpful and provided a great service, we are really happy with the move and would use again.

We moved from Sydney to Melbourne and with such a big move we had some worries about our furniture, but the guys at moving mates were really great !
They were ontime at pick up and carefully wrapped all my items and in kept in close contact with me when they arrived in Melbourne and where even waiting for me to arrive which i really appreciated!!
This is a great company and we have recommened to our frineds who have already used Moving mates as well and also very happy.

The service was amazing the guys were on time and really efficient. Everything was done according to the plan. In the past we used another company that didn't work out as well as Moving Mates, so now we are very pleased.

The move was good, the original guy who was supposed to help us was changed and the new one did an excellent job.

Everything with the movie was excellent, very gentleman the two guys and helpful too. The only suggestion I would like to say is more feedback between the Moving Mates team and the customer after the move.

The guys took all my belongings without any damages, they took care of fragile and delicate things. Making sure that the move was complete in a professional way.

I definitely recommend their service. All the 3 guys were efficent. We had a lot of things to move and took them nearly 3 hrs to load but they were relentless.
