Only small but friendly and swift service with good value for money. A great place to catch up with friends for a cuppa and a chat.

The pastry sweet and savoury melts in your mouth, everything is fresh and tastes like its made that day. Fillings are really generous and delicious. Fabulous choice, been there many times now and keep recommending to everyone, we have never been dissappointed and go out of our way to get there. Fabulous coffee and ambience. A MUST to visit, you wont go anywhere else.

Pleasant & food was great - always baked on the premises.. i love the strawberry and fruit flans, they are yum!!
we often get their bread and it does not really stay in a loaf for too long.
have had a couple of coffees there and i would certainly recommend them.

Approximate cost: $10.00

I regularly visit the cafe and am always satisfied with their service. The staff are well presented and are very friendly. They always accommodate my requests. The food is of a high standard as is their lovely coffee. I recommend this cafe to all my friends and I'm disappointed to read of the negative reviews on here as this is not the case.

My family and I are frequent customers at the cafe. We consider it one of our favourite places to have a coffee and cake or if we have time a meal. Its a lovely place to escape to on the weekend, nestled in the peaceful hills of Perth.

I have to say that I was very surprised by the negative reviews left here. I have never had a bad experience at the artisan and I visit at least 5 times a week. The coffee is great, I love the blend they use. The staff are nothing but friendly, polite and helpful. To suggest that they are unhelpful and rude is grossly unfair. At times I feel sorry for the ladies because they have to put up with impatient customers. When its very busy they do their best. The cakes and breads are simply delicious, they make the most exquisite vanilla slice. All their fine food is credit to the resident Danish Baker. If you are ever in the hills region its well worth a visit.

Approximate cost: $12.00

We went for lunch to Mundaring Artisan Bakery Cafe and ordered salads, coffee and cake. The Shop Assistants were impatient and unhappy. The food took an extraordinary amount of time to arrive. When the food arrived, there was very little on the plate and it didn't look very good. The prices they are charging are exhorbitant and too expensive for this type of cafe. They are charging prices you would expect to pay in an up market restaurant. Not a very good experience at all and left us feeling ripped off and unhappy.

Hubby and I constantly frequent the Artisan for our morning constitutional coffee and brainstorming. The atmosphere is great and the Mocha's leave a wonderful after taste in your mouth. You do have to get there early as the popular times make it difficult to get a table. I love the fruit breads and pastries. Having an experienced Danish baker makes this establishment a worth while visit from anywhere in Perth.

It is a well presented establishment and the atmosphere makes it a great place to dine and have a quiet minute away from the world. The food is not only great and delicious but very well presented and reasonably priced. The staff are constantly friendly and happy to help you. Being in a central location to the establishment of Mundaring makes it a great place to go and have a coffee.

The setting is great, well appointed, coffee is abysmal, undrinkable, mainly because the girls are not trained properly in how to use a coffee machine - one week at the barista school would fix that. Generally service is not good, again lack of training, also lack of attention to the dress of the staff, sloppy, hair hanging over face and constantly being pushed back etc. The food is good, pretty good value pastries are wonderful as is the bread. Cakes - not for me.

Wonderful service, wonderful food, friendly helpful staff. The bread is to die for. Cakes and pastries, quiche, bread, muffins. Excellent location.
