Thank you to all that were involved in saving Meg’s life yesterday after a snake bite. You are all amazing .

Hi Anne, Thank you for your review, we are all happy to hear Meg is doing well after her little adventure. No more snakes for Meg! regards Jacqui

Would like thank everyone who helped to look after Quinn on Friday 17th.

Nice people, looked after my cat Tinky's spay, vaccinations, microchipping and ear tattooing. They did a great job, good contact throughout the process and even snipped her nails for me. (She's a <6 month old kitten, it's challenging.)
Not expensive considering the costs of anaesthesia and surgery and I used a voucher I found online to cut down the price for surgery by 20%. Called me each day post surgery to follow up on Tinky's progress and I feel confident we will be using this business as our provider going forward.

Hi trishm825, Thank you for your review, I am glad that Tinky is recovering well from her procedure. Please let us know if there is anything else we can help you with. Regards Jacqui

What a disgraceful experience I had this morning:

Existing customer for years: yes

The animal (dog) is an existing customer (4 month old puppy is a 4 month long customer with previous owner) .

Required a vaccination for the newly purchased animal as current vaccination was expired by previous owner.

Appointment: None booked but arrived 8:20 am, time required for vaccination is below 3 minutes (past experience with you)

Staff instructs of the apparent ONLY possible outcome:
- book appointment for 3.5 hours later !!

Other option should have been in consultion with the paying customer aka asking for travel time from and to the vet, age of the animal aka stressing or frightening, possible problems in time management with customers later down the day.

Best information would have been to maybe wait and try to get the 3 minutes required inbetween current appointments (had lengthy waiting periods there with up to 45min)

Conclusion: As this vet surgery is definately not appreciating their current customers I will stay away.

The money making seems more important and common curtesy towards the animals no longer exists.

I will head back to my previous vet even though this requires 1 hour of driving time, he appreciates the effort. You are part of a service industry where you demonstrate that you fail the first and most important item: the care of the animal.

Approximate cost: $1

Priority is making money before care. All the positive reviews I noticed are from 5 years ago. I like many local people drive 35 minutes to mostly Mount Barker Vets. I am aged pensioner but after having the worst experience in my life with the Murray Bridge Vets just before Xmas 2017 have to go elsewhere. My initial visit the Vet ignored my concerns for my dog not eating and therefore how could I give anti biotic tablets, her only interest was trying to sign me up top Vetpay for more tests.( This Vet practice charges and addition $40 admin fee to what vet pay already charge). My dog I feared would die that night vomitting and temp went up to 40.7. It was Xmas weekend so I took him back next morning and they admitted him and gave him antibiotic injection which should have been done previous night. He then developed yellow jaundice while in hospital despite Friday vet doing test and saying liver test showed enzymes slightly raised. This whole experience with the stay Xmas w/e cost me $900 I have met many locals since and none go to this vet after also having very bad experiences. No one recommends this vet.

i paid for my cat desexing. It was espensive... but worth every cent. I took her in and they treated her like a person not just a cat. Definatly reccommend this to anyone.

Approximate cost: $218

Thank you for your feedback, I am glad your cat's surgery went well. If you have concerns or wish to discuss this further, please contact MBVC on 0885 322333

This is one of the best vet clinics I have taken my pets to. I recieved a discount when I got the kittens desexed. They insisted on micro chipping bot while under anesthetic. I'm glad they did because one kitten went missing and vets called us to let us know someone brought her in. Professional and effiecient

Thank you for your feedback, I am glad you were reunited with your kitten. If you have concerns in the future please contact MBVC on 0885 322333

This vet clinic is the only one in Murray Bridge and this is reflected in their prices. There is a sizable difference in the price of the services it provides in comparison to the vet clinics in Mt. Barker and Adelaide. They are however very knowledgeable in the farming sector and deal with many a number of horses and have been in business for quite awhile. They don't participate in any of the schemes in place to offer a reduction in the cost of desexing animals and I would recommend using a vet clinic in Mt. Barker or Strathalbyn if it is not for emergency care. The staff are pleasant and it does not take too long to get an appointment.

Approximate cost: $100
