Looks like I am not the only one that this person has been unreliable with. Very disappointing experience. Promised quote several times and like many tradespeople these days delivered nothing over 3 months. Don't bother!!

Mark and his team built a 3 bedroom, ensuite and WIR extension to our home in record time. Mark knew we needed the job finished within a certain time frame as we had nowhere else to go if the house wasn't ready, and he and his team worked tirelessly to complete this for us. The end result is amazing! Cathedral ceilings in our bedroom and an extension that is admired by all who see it. Mark's ability to think ahead for us about things that we hadn't thought of, meant the final product was better than we could have expected. We are very happy with what MVH produced for us and will definitely use them for any future building works.

Mark and the MVH team undertook renovations on our home and we could not be happier! We had some internal structural walls removed to open out our living spaces, main bathroom and ensuite gutted and replaced, as well as tiles and floor removed in kitchen and replaced with new floorboards. Prior to obtaining a quote from Mark, we had received quotes from 6 other builders but we knew the moment we met Mark that he was going to be the right fit for us. We felt instantly comfortable with working with him and could tell that he was honest and trustworthy. Whilst we had a pretty good idea of what we were after, Mark suggested a couple of changes to our design and plans that we had not thought of which were great ideas. He was also able to accommodate aspects of our build we had been previously told were not achievable. We had very regular communication, on site meetings and updates with Mark on progress throughout the duration of the works. And although we made a couple of variations, the work was completed within the contracted time. Mark came in right on budget too. We found that Mark and his team went above and beyond what other builders would have done to ensure the end product was of utmost quality. We have some other projects we wish to undertake in our home and we would not hesitate in using Mark and the MVH team for this future work.

We are thrilled with the overall quality and result of our new garage. It matches the existing dwelling perfectly. The whole experience was seamless from our initial discussions through to the final handover. Mark's attention to detail and consultative approach ensured we were constantly updated as to the progress of the build and any of our additional requests were promptly dealt with. We will definitely be engaging with MVH Constructions for the next stage of our renovations.

Four months and still waiting for a quote even after numerous assurances that "You'll have it in a couple of days." If they didn't want the job they should have just said so. Don't believe the fancy website. This is just another typical, unreliable tradie!

After getting our bathroom renovated by MVH, when we came to get our kitchen and laundry renovated, choosing a builder was easy. It all started with the design work, where Mark and his team helped us design an efficient kitchen and laundry layout that would maximise the utilisation of the space that we had, and suggested styles and finishes that would suit our house. The whole build was clearly outlined in a contract with progress payments clearly scheduled and explained, and when the build commenced, Mark kept us regularly updated with progress. The high quality of the finished product is evident, thanks to Mark's thorough attention to detail, and his "if I was living here, what would be best" approach. Just like our bathroom renovation, we felt comfortable having the MVH Constructions guys at home while we were both working full time. In summary, based on our experiences of our two renovations with MVH, both my fiance and I warmly recommend MVH Constructions, and believe that the customer service and quality workmanship offered by Mark and the guys is far superior.

Mark from mvh built a double story extension to our property consisting of a large family room with double opening doors to a large deck downstairs and two large bedrooms linen and sports cupboard upstairs. His attention to detail in helping us plan was great as he ensured the bricks were colour matched and he looked at a couple of different colours of joiner colour until he was happy it was right. He didn't just put any cement but advised us what was best to age and look the same so that the extension looked part of the house, not a tack on. I did the plans and permits myself but mark was very helpful with queries I had when lodging, and there were a few but he always answered his phone and helped me out to get the permit sorted. Mark was great during the build, and in some instances recommending slight changes which would be more suitable including leaving half a wall in a bedroom upstairs which he converted to a rumpus room. We had a issue with a previous builder constructing a deck/pergola unlevel which was adjoining our new family room double sliding doors and he was the only one who quoted and confidently told us he could solve the problem so we could walk out level, and he did. The others told us we would need a step. When he pegged up the footings he found the deck was also unsquare and protruding into the extension but he had a few options to solve it and it worked out great without disturbing the integrity of the extension. He even rebuilt the pergola with a much better design. He was very friendly and always good for a laugh. I was really happy with the quality of his work and the kids didn't even notice the earthquake! I would definately use Mark again to build, and I'm hoping to get him to renovate my bathrooms and kitchen down the track. He always has great outside the box thinking and ideas and always approaches things from a sensible if he were living there approach. He loves to draw out his ideas which is really helpful in understanding the concept. The kids miss him hanging around the place as he was very funny and great with the kids!

Thoroughness - In the case of our bathroom renovation, all the technical details were drawn up in a contract that had all the inclusions and any variation conditions explained in language we can understand so we always knew where we stood. Security - Both my partner and I felt comfortable having Mark and the guys from MVH Constructions in our home while we were both working full time, which made the decision to choose MVH a clear winner. In summary, we felt that MVH was as much about customer service and satisfaction as it was about delivering the contract agreed upon. This, we feel, is the difference between MVH and other trades people that we have been in contact with.

I had MVH install a window in some renovations I did for my house. I found Mark very skilled, professional and helpful. He responded very quickly to requests, and was willing to drop by to frame the project and return to provide more help after his work had finished. I can happily recommend his work.
