The Ballarat store has some great bargains from time to time, you just need the time to look around , and if you cant find it marked down this week try again later. There does not seem to be that many staff around these days not like years ago, but the ones there are always helpfu,. the stock seems to vary from other stores at times.

The range is really limited at this Myer store. They are also often out of stock on sale items, ie womens shoes. They also run out of sizes, or never stock them. I tend to avoid this store for those reasons.

I generally stay clear of Myer due to the prices, unlike the Geelong store, Ballarat ALWAYS have discounted items which aren't sample sizes! The store isn't massive but it's got everything you need. Love it.

I used to never step foot in myer. The prices scared me and I thought I'd just be depressed walking around aimlessly, looking at things I'll never own...
And then I found it. CLEARENCE ITEMS!
I recently got my daughter 6 summer dresses (with price tags over $50) for under $10! During last summer I got my parnter some fashionable singlets for $3 each!
Don't walk past them.. They are usually 30-70% off the MARKED price! LOVE!

Hello Brittanyf2, We are in total agreement with your comments. Far too many people discount Myer as being ‘too expensive’ however ‘clearance’ items offer amazing savings which enable you to have the 'quality' you desire but ‘thought’ you couldn’t afford. Shhhhhhhhhhh Brittanyf2, you must be selective to whom you impart this information, after all we don’t want too many people competing for the bargains. :) Reeces

I love the experience of going to myer, the service is great and you can find many of the products you are looking for, most being top of the range. however, not really for those who have a tight pocket.

I don't often find myself shopping at Myers due to the pricing of the products. I find the quality to be on par with other shops selling similar products, however when I do look around I am generally confronted with little to no service, and belittling or arrogant attitude from those at the cash registers.

Approximate cost: $100

Sales lady was very helpful much more than the service in Melbourne City Bourke St Mall which I find very abrupt and impersonal The Ballarat store is much easier to find what you want as the Melbourne store is still having renovations and very confusing to most people

Approximate cost: $50

I hesitate to shop at Myer in other areas I have lived in but this Myer was in a great location and had a much larger store than was expected. The staff could work on their manner though as one lady seemed vague and then where I paid the lady there was rude and wanted her day of work to be over. Items were fine but the shopping experience was a tad frustrating.

Often go in to buy Men's clothing. The range is a little disappointing and the prices are just ridiculous. I know we are talking about branded items here, but still with their $25 off they still are very expensive items.

Approximate cost: $100+

I have lived in Ballarat for 5 years, and to this day have found nothing in the clothes department that is even vaguely of quality. As for the beauty department, Target has abetter department! I asked an assistant why the store is so dull not only in is products but its style and lighting. The reply, the store isnt going to get any help until 2015!!! By that time the rest of Ballarats good store which are a pleasure to visit will have swallowed up Myers Ballarat. Just look at the style and cleanliness of Holy Sheet, the new UFS, Wen & Ware. Why cannot we have the same quality as Melbourne. Why does the beauty department now have the cast off shelvng from another store, why does the burnt out Myers in Hobart have a better shopping experience now than Ballarat. On one day during the Christmas rush I was in the store, hardly any people in there, whilsat other store were packed with people. Will Myers anser these queries, I think not, I have been tryng for a long time, and still no reply.
