Check the number of properties they have on their website that have sold in your Suburb. This will give you a fair indication where they stand in the market place in your area. If you are not comfortable with negotiating and dealing with all types of nationalities then it might take you a long time to sell your property by private sale you might be better off selling by Auction. If you shop around Agents will negotiate their marketing package plus they have a data base. At the end of the day you can try and if it works it's great and if it doesn't you have wasted a lot of time and effort when you could of given it to an experienced sales agent.
