The four-star rating is for the front desk receptionist. I had an easy time speaking to Melissa when I arrived.

However, my experience with Julian was a one-hundred and eighty degrees opposite of "good." When I arrived for my first appointment, Julian made numerous "I think" and "I believe" phrases to suggest that there were multiple spots of decay on my teeth before and after my X-rays were taken, which does not provide confirmation but provides plausible deniability as it is only implied. He was insisting that I go for expensive treatments such as a crown replacement, a trip to the orthodontist and multiple fillings.

When I expressed hesitance and concern over the crown replacement, the dentist became extremely defensive and came across as hostile. I had a second check done at another dental clinic and had a new dentist assess my OPG records. Not only did I find out that Julian had been dishonest about his "suspicions" as there were no signs of decay, but that the fillings that were done and the crown replacement were not necessary and all I needed were fissure sealants.

Save your money and your teeth. Go find someplace else if you need treatment.

Additionally, I happened to speak to Julian directly on a phone call to cancel my appointments. I caught him trying to BS me with verbal diarrhea when I confronted him over the crown replacement. What he said went along the lines of "I didn't say that there was a crown that needed doing ... I merely said that there was decay underneath the filling and I wasn't going to do a crown on that tooth *Name* I merely said that if we redid that filling I suspected that there would be decay underneath the filling and we might have to do a filling that would hold it together until later on down the track when a crown could be placed over the top of it." I filtered out the stuttering and fixed the broken grammar due to his nervousness.

Take heed that the majority of the positive reviews are fake as you can tell by noticing the fact that every individual has their ways of expressing their words, most of them sound too professionally written and vague too as if they were written by the same person. You probably weren't able to find the negative reviews on google as the higher ratings tend to show up first. Try looking for the google reviews and the Yelp page -if they haven't been taken down-. I wasn't the only one to experience this.

Dr Julian Moore can be described in one word when it comes to his approach to dentistry - perfectionist! I have been there a few times now and he has always been very honest and open about what work may needed & explains it well. He also collaborates with you and makes sure you are happy before proceeding. I've required preventative work and so pleased he is not happy till he has it absolutely right. Going to the dentist is a nervous thing and can be costly but I've not been disappointed with Dr Moore or his team. Very helpful and take it all into consideration. Definitely recommend.
