Previously I have always dealt with the female vets at this practice and found their service to be excellent. Today I had the misfortune to take my 9 ½ year-old Kelpie to an older male vet. He was very aggressive and rude. He handled my dog roughly and aggressively (to the point where I feared he would hurt her, she had abdominal surgery less than a week ago), cursed (F-word) and went on an ill-informed rant about how he believes working breeds should not be taught fetch. I have never met a vet less suited to working with animals than this man. If you must go to this practice make sure to ask for one of the female vets. I will not be returning myself.

Approximate cost: $450

I can confirm the below review as a regular user of this vet. The vet owner Sol obviously adores animals and all the other vets are very professional and caring. We had to have two rabbits put down after they become seriously ill and they handled both in an incredibly compassionate manner. Both my dog Peggy and cat Ollie have always been treated very well here.

I am very surprised at the negative review above so have decided to comment. I haven't been here for a few years due to the death of my pets (old age), but note that the vet is still the same. These guys were wonderful - both my cat and dog were terrified of vets, they even suggested we just drop by every now and then on a walk to get a liver treat to make her (dog) less anxious. Very understanding and helpful in calming her down even though she could get snappy with injections, and offered great general advice re looking after them. When I eventually get new pets I will definitely return here.

I have had TWO experiences where I've made a booking, turned up and then the booking "wasn't in the system". Also when taking a blood test for my dog, they said that they'd call in three days. Then when I called five days later, they said that they had to retake the blood test. Generally they were okay. The young female vets were great. The male vets and the male receptionist were the people involved in the poor quality customer service. They forgot that animals are really part of your family.

I took my dogs and cat here and they were very good they explained everything to me about what they were doing and told me there would not be any problem with my pets I would highly reccomeend this vet to everyone

The staff clearly love animals and are very good at calming them down. My vet has a way of getting my lab to sit still for injections and pills, something she won't do for me.
