I've been going here for over 20 years with 6 different cats. I've just brought my boy home after a blocked urethra. When I brought him in late on Wednesday, Eleanor and Marjane stayed late to unblock it.
Sol treated my old girl who had hyperthyroidism with Chinese herbs. When I had to have my last cat put down during lockdown, they set me up on the back verandah so I could be with her.
They care so much for the animals and they so understand how much we love our fur babies.

I had been taking my furry babes to the same wonderful vet for 12 years before she retired. I tried a clinic about 150metres down the road but they didn't win my confidence. I followed a friend's advice and went to Northcote Plaza. The first two female vets were fabulous with thorough compassionate treatment... Then we met Sol, OMG, best vet EVER. My aged arthritic dog fell in love with him and was feather light as she danced out of the surgery after he treated her with Chiro and Shiatsu... along with the more conventional treatment for her chronic renal failure.

Excellent, excellent, excellent! The vets and nurses at this clinic (especially Sol) are amazing, caring, knowledgeable and trustworthy. After trying a couple of clinics in the area and being totally ripped off I am so glad a friend of mine recommended Sol and his team.

I recently had my dog’s teeth cleaned and an extraction performed. As my dog has a heart murmur I was very anxious about the procedure. My mind was put at ease when everything was explained and all precautions taken. My dog is much happier after this procedure and it cost me half the price that another clinic had quoted.

I wouldn’t go anywhere else! A no frills clinic but full of substance and knowledge.

I was very happy with the service at this clinic. One of my cats can sometimes be a bit of a handful when she brought to the vets, she gets scared and becomes defensive. Pasts vet clinics have seemed afraid of her and not handled her professionally and don't give her a full check up however Northcote vet clinic were very professional and did not let the fact that she was a handful mean she was overlooked in terms of a proper check up. They were able to calm her down. Would recommend to those looking for a good vet.

I have been taking my furry little friends to this vet for 5 years. The vet is quite small and if there are a few people in waiting room and can become very squishy. Especially if a big dog is also waiting which there always seems to be when I am in there. The staff are great here and seem to love what they are doing. My dogs walk right in to this vet (others they have freeze right at door) so this always a great sign that my dogs are comfortable. Waiting times are usually less than 10 minutes with only 1 time waiting for a while, however I do not think it was so much their fault as I think an emergency case came in. I really like coming to this vet.

I took my elderly cat to Northcote Plaza Vet for a second opinion following a suspected cancer diagnosis (another vet had recommended costly and invasive investigations that I did not want to put him though).
All of the staff at Northcote Plaza Vet were fantastic. They provided wonderful care for my cat that really improved his quality of life in his final months. They were also incredibly supportive of me (I was in tears nearly every time I took him in!)
I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

Thanks for you informative review. I'll remember them if my cat gets sick.

We recently had an animal checked over for some concerns at this vet. The veterinarian was friendly enough, and was thorough in assessing the animal for the issues we were checking out. The waiting room is small as is the whole building, but that's the general theme of Northcote so that's definitely not an issue. Waiting time was brief and it wasn't too hard to find a parking spot amazingly for that area. Pleased with the outcome of the visit, would recommend a visit if you need their services.

I have been coming here for the past 5 years and the Vet's are so lovely, caring, knowledgable, accommodating and helpful. On one occasion they even stayed late( on a Friday night) to see my Cat and I. Every visit has been a pleasure and I would highly recommend them to anyone

I take my dog there, the people are friendly and I like the way the male vet checks my dog's shiatsu points! It's not just western medicine, even in the animal world. Prices are reasonable.

I think that sol the male vet is amazing as are the female vets. I think the person who wrote the negative review must be a diva, sol is very caring and unlike a lot of other vets doesn't rip you off!
the nurses are also great and so friendly to the animals. I wouldn't go anywhere else

Approximate cost: $97.00
