Have visited several times when in Sydney. Most memorable was the Monet & the Impressionists exhibition several years ago - couldn't believe I was in the same room as so many breathtaking works of art!

It's a lovely cool spot to while away some time (I always seem to be in Sydney in the hotter months!) in a beautiful setting, and close enough to the city centre to head out shopping afterwards!
Entry to the gallery itself is free, although some of the visiting exhibitions are ticketed.
There's also a nice cafe, with a beautiful outdoor balcony area, and a good range of light meals or snacks.
Cloakroom, of course, and the staff are always helpful, especially with directions for an out-of-towner!
I look forward to my next visit.

An incredible collection of art - my regular go-to for a reliably well-curated exhibition or two. The John Kaldor Family Collection is particularly astounding (my favourites include some Rauschenberg gluts) and Francis Bacon is exhibiting now - if not, soon. Highly recommended.

Saw Picasso here it was fun, but had a lot of school groups going through as well, I remember seeing 3 different schools which made it quite crowded for one session. A bit annoyed at the time, but Picasso helped.

there is always a brilliant new exhibition on for all tastes. The atmosphere is as to be expected but the staff really go the extra mile with service. We make sure we go to all special exhibitions on offer, as we are never disappointed
