I have recently had 13 x 385W Jinko panels with Enphase microinverters installed in Hawthorn. The installation was efficient, highly professional and I would recommend Nu Energy's services to anyone looking to lower their energy bills.

The Enphase Enlighten app is great / simple to use and has helped me better understand and optimise my energy usage. Based on what I’m already seeing, I'm looking fwd to seeing my energy bill plummet!

Highly-commendable service. They were very careful in installing the solar panels at the site where I want the panels to be put. They're also very professional and easy to talk with. I had no problems or anything in having the solar panels installed.

I must congratulate Nu Energy for the seamless way they installed my new solar panels on my 2-story home. It all was installed exactly as promised, and the installation led by Dean ensured the dealings with my electricity supplier was smooth as silk too. Well done team! It was a whole lot easier than a mate of mine experienced with someone else.

I recently had a 9KW unit with 36 panels installed on a new house build in Elsternwick. The team at Nu Energy were fantastic. The operations manager from Nu Energy attended site to discuss my requirements and then sent out the electrician who would be installing the system so that we could walk through the job and do some physically planning as I did not wish to see the panels on the roof. I signed a contract and then Nu Energy sent the electrician who roughed in the system in one day and they came back with a team of electricians and installed the panels in one day. Nu Energy assisted with the paperwork to connect my system to the grid and overall it was a very pleasant experience. Beware of cheap competitors it will end up in tears! Nu Energy is the way to go for that best quality and service when in comes to Solar Energy Systems.

I went with Ni Energy for 1.5 kw solar power at my old place because they were cheaper than all else.

They used cheap Chinese panels but the business and supplier had been going for a while and it was all approved by the green energy council.

The aerosharp inverted supplied was crap however. It is noisy, does not last long and has a low conversion rate.

The call centre used a satelite photo of my roof to say it would fit. The insrallers nearly walked away when they saw I had solar hot water that was installed after the satelite shot. I had explained this over the phone but I guess the consultant just wanted the sale. I was able to convince the installers that the system could be installed on to parts of the roof that face the same way. They did it reluctantly and the system worked fine. A friend was not so fortunate and his system was put on a east nacing roof rather than the north face. My understanding is they pay minimum wage and the contractors don't want to do the extra work.

Having said all that the system did work and I got reasonable value from it. I moved out after a couple of years and the system definitely did not work as well on the second year

I would not recommend them because of all the hassle I had getting the system but if you don't mind this and want a cheap working system then these guys will work out fine for you.

We had our 1.5kw Solar PV system installed for about $2299.
They said it was 'fully installed'. Now for me, just simply putting the panels and inverters in is not 'fully installed'. The electrician told us that everything was 'completed'. So, we sat around for about 2 months thinking it was done and someone would come and sort everything out, before we decided to call and ask what exactly was happening. Then we found out that we had to lodge an application to connect it to the grid. (Should have known before). So here we are now, missing out on the Government's 60c rebate.
Nu-Energy badly misinformed us.
Additionally, the electrician they sent out to us was not of very good quality, our switchboard was left in poor condition, as he left it loose. Our meter-installer was the one to inform us that it was potentially fatal, as the exposed wires would cause an electrical shock and kill anyone who accidently touched the board or wires. Thankfully he fixed it up for us.
Nu-Energy disappointed us. The price seemed great and cheap for a solar system, but now we don't know how many years it will be until we get that money back.
