In December 2021, I had highlights, hair colouring and hairstyling done in this salon by their Senior Style Director J. and Senior Advanced Stylist Technical Director M. The highlights turned yellow, roots were left as they were dark brown with greys although I wanted them blended or coloured but they did not cover grey hair at all. This was the worst colouring experience I had in my whole entire life. Not just that the highlights were yellow, but they were so poorly executed that my hair had some sort of off putting yellow hallo before it transitioned into bleached and burned out ends. I cried my eyes out and still feel traumatised by the whole experience. Without hesitation whole heartedly I do not recommend this salon.

This is the best overall hair salon in Canberra I visited in the last 6 years. The colourist Analise is absolutely world class - the best. She gave me the hair colour exactly how I wanted from the first go. She was able to recommend the tone and execute it perfectly. She was so switched on and new the latest trends as well as how to adjust them to suit my undertones. Amazing!
Also Paul - cuts hair perfectly! Everyone in the salon is kind, switched on true professionals. The best customer service I experienced in Canberra salons bar none!

Ryan from off London is great. It's my first time having haircut in AU. He is attentive and nice. I am nervous and haven't told him correctly how I usually divide my fringe. I revisited the salon on the next morning. Ryan is nice. He helps me to fix it. Definitely would recommend to my friends.

I was really happy with my visit to Off London. The salon has a great atmosphere being busy but also very friendly and welcoming and the staff seemed happy to be there. Stylists Nicole and Emma listened patiently and were a wealth of good advice and I appreciated their suggestions. I had quite a big change and they stepped me through the whole process. I absolutely love my colour and cut and feel that they very much considered how it worked for me and the look I was after. I've already booked my next visit and look forward to another great experience.

Zara from offlondon was amazing. She listened, advised and made sure i was happy with my hair cut. Its not easy to find a stylist who really tries to understand what you have in mind, but zara made sure we had a good understanding before she started working my hair. I left feeling happy and will definitely go back for her service.

This was truly the WORST experience I have ever had at a hairdressers. I went to Off London two years ago when I was living in Canberra. I didn't review it at the time because i was seriously so upset and traumatised by the experience, but two years later I think people need to know how deficient their service is. I booked in with Annalise and as a colour specialist I expected specialist service. As she's only in on certain days I had to take a day off work. I had ombre hair at the time - darker on top, lighter on the bottom. I wanted her to take it a single even colour by lift in the top and darkening the bottom. This isn't a complex job but did mean you couldn't just put a single colour all over it as the gold on the bottom would throw green and the colour on the top will end up throwing pink. Annalise was nice enough, but halfway through processing my hair decided her shift had ended and she would leave. She didn't even tell me, she just left and one other colleagues was told to deal with me. I found this COMPLETELY unacceptable. I was being charged at HER rates, i'd taken the day off work to see her and she just leaves without so much as an apology or a goodbye. As co-owner of the business this is unbelievable behaviour and something i'd only accept in an emergency (and then with lots and lots of apology to the customer). Because the other staff had their own customers i was then everyone else's problem. I'm not sure why annalise hadn't judged the timing correctly as she'd been told prior exactly what she'd have to do etc..anyway, everything went from bad to worse. The bleach was burning my scalp and I was in a lot of pain and had to ask to be washed immediately, when they put the first lot of colour in, and i got taken to the chair to dry off, I could see that my random grey roots were still not coloured properly. It was a friggen nightmare. When I walked out, because they hadn't used two different colours the bottom of my hair was throwing green shades and the top was throwing pink. It looked terrible. The salon wanted to argue with me about how much I owed them - i ended up paying for 3/4's of a hairstyle i loathed, I didn't think i should have paid for anything and they didn't offer me any service to fix it. All in all these people need to be avoided as they don't have the technical expertise to deliver. I ended up paying another $400 to get it fixed elsewhere.

After moving to Canberra recently I was on the lookout for a new hairdresser and, after an awful experience at another salon, thankfully I found Off London. I am pretty fussy but am more than happy with the results. Janice is amazing and always remembers anything discussed at the last appointment. Highly recommended.

After moving to canberra I had to do the dreaded search for a new hairdresser. After a few failures, I was very impressed with Off London! Great service and great quality!

It's hard to find a hair salon that you feel comfortable with, so I'm really glad Off London is so close to home. A fantastic, professional service, and well worth the price. My only gripe is that last time I made an appointment, no-one told me I was booked in with an advanced stylist. When I went to pay, I wasn't able to use my student discount and had to pay quite a bit more than I bargained for.
