This is a great place for a meal or function, never been disappointed, their pizza's are fabulous. I quite often go with friends on steak night as you can get a huge rump steak with gravy, chips and salad for $14.90, such a bargain. They always use good quality meat and it is always cooked to perfection. They also have a schnitzel night for around $13. Have tried their salt and pepper squid, tasted great. Honestly, nothing beats their pizzas.

Always busy, so it might be best to book a table, very friendly service and fabulous meals.

I have been here a few times with my family and have always enjoyed our meals, the kids especially liked the schnitzels. Good choice of meals, the prices, I think are a bit high, that's why we don't go here very often. We found on the ocassions we ate here that we had to wait quite a while for our meals, and if you have kids - of any age, it really makes it difficult. It is situated in such a lovely spot, it is quite relaxing (fortunately for us, less than 20 minutes away). It's a nice place for a meal but not a place I would regularly go to.

We have eaten here before and it was good. This was for my birthday and it was a very bad choice. We had to wait nearly 1 1/2 hours for our meals and then most were just warm. 2 of our group got their meals 2 hours after we ordered. We had a voucher for 1 free meal and after we got home and worked out the prices we found this had not been accounted for and we had been overcharged for our drinks. I hope the wedding which was there the same night had better luck. Very disappointing.

Approximate cost: $32

I have been here a couple of times and always found the food to be great. However, I would agree that the service is quite slow. If I would have experienced what you did, I would definitely NEVER return!

Situated in a beautiful spot, nice and quiet area, nicely located to be able to tour the country side and close enough to the city to. The meals were very good. It is an older establishment and not 5 star rating, when we were there we felt the rooms needed a bit of an upgrade to a more modern look.

We held a birthday function here and it was a truly fantastic evening! The service provided by the staff in both organising the function and on the night was friendly and very helpful. The set menu was reasonably priced compared to other restaurants and the food was absolutely delicious.

The favourite meal of the night was the salt and pepper squid. In fact, this meal was so good that we have returned several times specifically for this meal. This is the best salt and pepper squid we have tried in our opinion!

There are three downsides we found to this restaurant. 1) It is not completely disability accessible given the steepness and unevenness of the exterior 'rock'-formed ramp. 2) We had to go outside the restaurant then back in through another door to access the toilets. On a freezing cold and raining night in the hills this was not ideal. 3) it is quite a long drive away through the hills - if if were closer we would probably go every week!

Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Just home from having a lovely family dinner here. The tables are well spaced in a spacious clean and appealing restaurant. The menu is extensive with a good variety to suit all tastes. I had the garlic prawns (gluten free) and my husband had the salt and pepper squid. The pork meal and the fish melody were also enjoyed by our son and his wife. Children's meals were fish and chips and chicken snitzel which our grandchildren enjoyed.

Outside seating is available for nice evenings and a wedding venue is also available here

I have eaten there a few times and the food has always been good and the service great too. In summer it is nice sitting out the front. I will definitely be going back

Eaten here a number of times although the last time probably will be the last time. I was served oysters killpatrick smothered with melted cheese - when I complained to the waitress she started arguing with me that it was the chef's version and wouldn't let up even though killpatrick is killpatrick worldwide. Before this time the meals were always fine.
