Was in the area so called in to enquire about upgrading my plan to also include an IPhone 4 - Bang! - Systems failure and they could not get any connection to check the status of my plan. Extremely apologetic guy asked if I could call back in 20 minutes or so. I did and systems were up and running but the phone I wanted would not be in until Tuesday and as I was late for another appointment, the guy took copies of my ID with a promise he would do all the paperwork so I would not have to wait when I returned. Expectations filled and discounted accessories for the hassle - no complaints from me :)

Visited the store to enquire about an insurance claim for my mobile handset, and was given no help what-so-ever. I ended up getting into an argument with the store manager who insisted an insurance "excess" was actually called an "access fee". Would be really nice if as a paying customer of Optus you could visit an Optus branded store and be greeted with polite staff who had any form of training or common sense.
