Duncan (our waiter) was busy the night we wet but ensured that we were not left stranded. We went for the 7 course degustation menu and were not disappointed, having been here in the past and having always enjoyed the signature dishes - we were really pleased we went this way to sample alot more dishes - highly recommend

Called in late on a Friday night and even though the remaining 2 tables were about to leave, our party of 6 were warmly welcomed. They don;t publicise it, but the banquet (yes even Italians do banquets) is the way to go. Great service - cute waiters - and great food - will come back here again for sure

Was in the area so called in to enquire about upgrading my plan to also include an IPhone 4 - Bang! - Systems failure and they could not get any connection to check the status of my plan. Extremely apologetic guy asked if I could call back in 20 minutes or so. I did and systems were up and running but the phone I wanted would not be in until Tuesday and as I was late for another appointment, the guy took copies of my ID with a promise he would do all the paperwork so I would not have to wait when I returned. Expectations filled and discounted accessories for the hassle - no complaints from me :)

Been here 3 times in 4 weeks which must mean that I enjoy the experience. Meal portion sizes represent value and are always served hot and in a timely manner. Coffee is one of the best in the area and the service is spot on. The male waiters serve more then food as they become eye candy whilst you sit back, sip at that late and watch the world go by. Inside can be noisy though and a large heater outside ensures you don't freeze too much. Will continue to return

Living locally we love coming here for brunch on the weekends - sitting on the verandah overlooking Giles Street and watching the world go by. the crew are attentive, polite and very obliging. The coffee takes a little time to arrive, but being 1 of only 3 places in Kingston that serve great coffee, that is not surprising. The food is presented well - not too much and not to scant - you leave knowing you have satisfied the appetite without feeling bloated. Prices are in line with Kingston eateries, a bit cheaper then Manuka. We keep going back and I was hesitant in reviewing here as I don't want it to get that popular that I won;t be able to get a seat on the week-ends!

Once again, being a repeat customer I recently dined at Portia's Place. Whilst it is disappointing that Portia insists on 2 sittings, the first starting at 6:30am, I really don't mind as the food and service wins every time. Portia is fabulous - does not forget a face or name and really is truly a fabulous hostess. Highly recommend their specials, but mainstream menu is also excellent. Will continue to return because I am always made welcome and the quality of the food remains consistently high

I have been going to this medical centre for the last 8 years ( they were previously in New Farm) and even though I am living interstate, I always go there for an annual check up - good excuse for a holiday too! I have seen the same doctor all the time, and whilst appointment times run late sometimes, the care, dedication and commitment of the practising doctors and staff are second to one

This tiny little hairdressers looks nothing from the outside and you could easily miss it. But do yourself a favour and don't! Nawal is the owner and smooth operator and she cuts, colours, perms and trims exactly the way you want it. If you want a change - then say so and she will make you over like no other! She entertains with her tales form over the years from the moment you step in until the moment you leave - with 1 aching jaw from smiling and laughing too much! This one woman band knows her stuff and has been in the industry since Noah built the arc! We chanced a visit some 2 years ago and have not looked back since - so whether you are a local or keen to visit Green Square again - book in advance - she is only open Wed to Sat though so keep that in mind. You won;t regret it!

Heaven in a leather chair! Honestly these guys know their stuff and you can feel secure in the fact that if you don't have a clue of what style you should have - they do and you will walk out a new person feeling ab fab and without the price tag that others feel obliged to charge. Do yourself a favour and go for a cut and colour and blow for Easter - you deserve it!
