I recently had 2 roller shutters fitted to the front of my home mainly to block out the sun early in the morning and the heat. The shutters look great but there's heaps of light coming in on one bottom corner of one so the service guy came to check and said he couldn't do anything about it due to the bricks & slight variations. He had a tube of Selleys no gaps in the right colour in his hand to show me what I needed but refused to run a strip down to solve the problem. He said his boss wouldn't allow it. So I called to complain to the manager who said they refuse to assist with this problem. So now I have to pay a handyman to come fix the issue. Very disappointing OzShut, I won't be recommending you.

In 3 weeks in and still have a shutter that doesn't work. It took 4 calls just to get a response from the scheduler and even then she given me the wrong time.....10am - 1pm is now 1pm - 30pm but only cause I've ring to ask where the person is.
It appears they sell faster than they fix
After service does not exist with this company.

Just had 10 electric shutters installed. From the initial quote meeting where Darren explained all the options and provided an on the spot quote ( which came in lower than
I expected) the installation including electrical work was completed within a half a day, to the highest standard and everything was left spotless. Roller Shutters not only work great but also look great !!! Extremely Happy that I went with Oz Shut !!! Will highly recommend to family and friends

Would not recommend. Highest quote by far of all my quotes received. The sales person pretended to call his manager to get the price down. He was pressuring us into a decision and got a little annoyed when we said no. All we wanted was a measure and quote. He then called not stop for the next few weeks. It put me off going through them and then finding out there price was way over the top. Would never use them!

I purchased a few manual opening shutters a few years ago. Then decided to have remote opening. The service was excellent and the workers were friendly and helpful.
I then decided to fit the rest of the windows. I would recommend them to install and maintain the shutters

What a bitter disappointment with Ozshut!!After their bombastic advertising promising 40% off, their quote was far the highest of the 4 quotes I received from different roller shutters companies.
Moreover, it appears that Ozshut are using cheaper lower quality materials that the other companies, as evidenced by the fact that Ozshut offered only 5 years warranty on their electrical motor, whilst the other companies offered 10 or even 15 years. And, of course, lower quality products are offered with shorter warranties!!

Sonia/Clarkson Wa....27-7 17 We recently finally installed our roller shutter...2 windows on the front...were really happy for it coz..a few days after installing the whole week the weather was soo bad and with the roller shutter we can't hear the wind and noise from the street..and it add s the style of the house when you fully close the roller shutter..Thank you soo much esp. to Rob Hunt who help us with a good deal...Thank you Ozshut Roller shutter....

We recently installed out third shutter and are completely happy with it. During the recent storms have put it down fully and Windows haven't rattled in the strong winds. As we live on the coast we get quite strong sea breezes and in summer I can open the windows, put the Shutter down so a little breeze gets in especially at night and this cools the house down. Noise level also drops with the shutters down.

Great product. Me, family and friends around the peel region are multiple time past customers. Ive personally had 2 whole houses done. Had a issue on 1 shutter but fixed within 2 days. Aftercare service is brilllant. My 1st house is coming on 10 years old now with shutters and work like day 1. We are all happy.

FEEDBACK ON YOUR NON EXISTENT BUSINESS ACUMEN
Although I had entered no competition at Midland Gate shopping Centre I received a call to tell me that I was a runner up in the competition and would receive $200 off each roller shutter I had installed through OzShut. I explained to the female making the call that I had already explained to the person manning the booth that I did not want to attend the rental property but would rather the person taking the measurements come to my place of abode after the measuring and had been informed that this was not possible.

After checking with her supervisor the female caller took down all my details, rental property address, name of tenant, my personal address, my husband’s name and said a salesperson would be ringing me prior to the 4.00pm Saturday appointment.

The salesperson duly rang today and said that I needed to be at the rental property in order to give permission for OzShut to enter the property. I explained that this was not correct as the tenant was the only person who could authorise entry and that would be forthcoming when OzShut arrived at the rental property.

After receiving advice that the original staff member had referred the matter to her supervisor and come back with an “okay”, the male caller said he would check this and call back.

When the call back was received I was advised that either myself or my husband would need to be at the rental property so that we could be shown the details of the installation. I advised that I had already had roller shutters installed at a previous property in which I had resided, I understood the ins and outs of roller shutters and did not desire to be present at the measurement visit as this was merely an improvement measure we were taking, not something that was going to affect us personally.

When the male caller insisted that one of us be there I told him that there seemed to be no point in proceeding as I had no intention of being at the rental property for no good reason. I was then informed “have a nice day” and the call was terminated.

I find it incredible that your company is in such fantastic financial circumstances that you can wave away without a second thought an extremely likely sale of up to 6 windows of roller shutters, just because the owner of the property did not wish to be present at the measurement appointment.
