Got a missed call and did not know it was ozshut. I called back to an automated voice message that it was ozshut. Option to opt out was given, and to leave my name, address and contact. So i opted out. Ozshut then had the nerve to call me back with their "new promotion" and marketing talk. I said i was not interested and was financially tight. So unless they want to give me roller shutters for free, we had nothing to discuss. The person then raised her voice, trying to cut me short while i was talking, continuing on about their promotion. They have no professional etiquette whatsoever. Pushy, pricey, rude and obnoxious.

I had an oz shut rep come to my door offering roller shutters. I agreed for them to come and measure up and give me a quote. Then a second person arrived asking how the first one went. Then a manager rang trying to get me to change the appointment to an earlier time. Then a second manager rang trying to do the same. They came out today and were about to measure up. We were standing by the window and he was about to start measuring, when I told him, I would not be making a decision that day as I wanted to discuss the info they provided with friends and family. The man rang the office immediately and put me on to someone higher who advised me that they had sent the wrong man out. That he could not measure up and they would need to send out a manager because the man they sent was just in advertising. Obviously untrue given the man was about to measure up. I advised I did not have anymore time to put aside, and would not be making another time with them. If they can't send out the right person to give me a quote, then I really can't trust they would send out the right person to install. I closed and locked my door. The man left about 5 minutes later after finishing the phone conversation with this "manager". They may well have received my custom if they were honest and not playing games.

I recently had a couple of roller shutters installed to the front of the house. The sales guy wanted to give me a half hour spiel before he even measured to quote. When I said I knew what I wanted and the product & I just wanted a quote he went outside and rang his supervisor. I could hear everything he was saying and it was not pleasant as he was talking about me not wanting to listen to his spiel. I should have sent him on his way then but wasn't forceful enough myself. I was on my own so the pressure sales then started. Unfortunately I ended up signing up with them, my biggest mistake and regret ever.

We recently had shutters installed on the windows of an old house. They came up with a really good price as the house is on a busy road and they REALLY wanted the advertising.

The guy who came out to measure them prior to installation incorrectly measured one of the openings so that it would only shut half way. The installer, who was very pleasant and professional took it away with him and brought it back two days later and fitted it to the window.

It was the following week before I was given 30 minutes notice for the electrician to come and wire them up which took a couple of hours.

We now have some large cracks in the render around a couple of the windows that wasn't there prior to installation but figured there isn't much you can do about that. Thankfully we hadn't done any exterior painting or repairs prior to the shutters.

It's early days, but so far so good. I only wish I'd found this site and read some of these reviews before I went with Ozshut as it certainly would have made a difference.

Oh, they did try the hard sell thing when I initially had someone out and he wasted over an hour of my time before I sent him packing. He wanted to show me his pie charts and tell me all about his advertising budget, which I really wasn't interested in.

When they called me back I told them I didn't want to hear any of their hard sell rubbish as it simply won't work on me. All I wanted was them to come out and measure the windows, show me the products and give me a price... end of story!

They didn't send the 'advertising manager' back the second time and instead they sent a straight talking guy who didn't waste my time and cut straight to the bottom line without all the hard sell.

I did point out to the sales guy that it would be a shame if I did receive bad service from their company which would force me to write the words 'NEVER USE' across the top of their lovely advertising sign they have in my front yard. A whole lotta people would see it. I think he got the picture.... ;-)

I signed up for 4 rollershutters to be installed across the front of my house, after the obligitory haggling and BS about having to call the boss blah blah blah, I bit the bullet.
The installer was on time and installed the roller shutters to a very good standard. My only problem with the installer was he left drill shavings all around the job site. Not a big deal but a shame as everything else looks great. My biggest gripe is he asked for payment there and then despite the electrician not having been around and I was stupid enough to say "sure, no problem", as they had my coin the electrician took longer than the "5 working days guaranteed", more like 8 working days which was 12 days total and required 2 follow up calls, first one at 4 working days only to be told call back if I have heard nothing after 5 days, andf the other saying someone would call me back which they did not. Overall the job is done, they work a treat. Noise and light is reduced and this is what I wanted them for.

This company is West Australian owned and is very efficient in providing there product. From the time we ordered to the time they installed them was less then a week. They also can offer interest free finance.

Obviously this comment is from one of Ozshuts own..Their Boss is a complete moron who uses bullying tactics to get clients to sign up on the spot..Since dealing with them for a free measure & quote (with High pressure sales tactics from the boss) I have spoken to several people that have had the same experience..Great Price, Great sales reps..untill you say your not interested in signing on the dotted line today...Then it's another story..God forbid if you needed after sales service!!!
