Don't waste your time going here, the staff can't count and are rude and dismissive. I'd give zero stars if I could, it seemed like they were actually accusing me of trying to scam them out of $1.20 - like I'd actually waste my time!

I always count the number of cans and bottles I have before returning them so I know the exact number which makes it easy for the staff. Today though as soon one of them uttered the words "We're just going to quickly count these" I knew things would go bad, I just didn't know how quickly that would occur.

One person counted the cans and got the wrong number 3 times yet was defiant in his stance that he had the right number. It wasn't until I showed him a photo I'd taken of them all lined up on my garage floor that he recounted and got the right number.

The other two lads counting the bottles had to count those 3 times in order to get the right number, then they "forgot" about the plastic milk container and two glass bottles I'd given them which would've given them the right number.

I gave the so called "manager" some constructive feedback that perhaps they ought to listen to customers when they come in and tell them the number they have (which is done for the benefit of both parties) rather than wasting my time and theirs getting it wrong multiple times. He actually had the gall to say that if I didn't like the service then I should go somewhere else.

Until their self-counting machine comes online I'd HIGHLY recommend visiting the depot over on Cottage Lane at Hackham or up at Reynella. The staff at both of those facilities are much friendlier and don't waste your time recounting what you've already counted.

I was heading out to an appointment nearby and decided to drop off a load of bottles and cans we had accumulated. Basically no waiting time, the guys grabbed all the boxes and $70 later I was very happy. Very quick friendly service.

We arrived with a trailer full of bottles and cans and 10 minutes later we left with an extra $85 cash in our pocket ready for spending at Bunnings down the road. Service was quick and friendly.

Once again stopped off to cash in our bottles and cans, it's amazing how quickly they accumulate, always great getting that bit of extra cash for my wife to go on another little spending spree and maybe a few beers for me.

Not at all. I have recycled for many years. Only since moving recently have I been using P&T. Since using them I have been suspicious of a light count on my bottles and cans. I decided to test their honesty... Absolute fail! My exceptionally careful count was out by approximately 50 in their favor. I suspect them of ringing up their own receipt and pocketing the difference.
They give you the opportunity to declare your count, but if you can't be bothered they are happy to take whatever cut they think they can get away with.

Another trip to P & T to collect some cash for our recycables. Staff are always friendly and helpful unloading our car and trailer. The counting process doesn't take long, cash in hand and off we go within about 10 minutes, and believe me, we had a lot to count.
