We love this place, I first discovered it while wandering around South Yarra on a Monday night looking for somewhere to eat - it was packed so I guessed it was worth trying. That was 3 years ago and its now a favourite. The food is excellent quality, plentiful and tasty. I'd recommend trying their fresh from the tank seafood but I also often have lunch here and enjoy the simpler dishes as well. The only downside is the the service can border on rude at times - I've had the bill bought to me before all of our dishes had arrived on one occasion! That said I still come back time and again...

This is one place you can't take someone on a date unless you're into 100 yard dashes! It's pretty much get in, order, eat, get out. No dessert menu here - just oranges at the end. Service is brisk and hurried so that you'll eat your meal and leave! However, the food there is very consistent, tasty and good value for money. Try the roasts (Duck, Pork with crackling or Char Siu), seafood fresh from the tank with price lists next door to the tanks at reasonable prices. Everything from abalone, coral trout, morwong, crayfish, crab etc etc done any way you like it. There's always a queue outside the door and there's a good reason for it - wide range, reasonable prices and good tasting Cantonese Chinese Food.

This is the best chinese restaurant in Melbourne I can say. The food is awesome and there is a variety of them. There is roast duck, seafood and many other things. They will serve you with a bowl of homemade soup as starters and end with usually a plate of oranges. It is really busy during weekend nights. I'll always book if I were to go during those times.

Approximate cost: $10

This is a really great asian restaurant. the decor is modern and spacious and there are plently of really big tables for large groups. They serve traditional hong kong dishes along with a variety of other asian classics. The seafood is really fresh and they bring it to your table alive before cooking it to ensure it is what you wanted. They also have a much cheaper lunch menu if you want somethin quick with dishes like sweet and sour pork and beef in black bean sauce with rice. The meals are all good sizes and very reasonably priced. The price includes a starter of soup which changes daily and also a sliced orange for desert. The meals are served quickly however sometimes you can feel a bit rushed to hurry up and finish so they can bring in the next customer. It is really busy for dinner on Friday and Saturday nights so it's a good idea to book.
