You get what you pay for and you know coming here that appointment times don't matter, you're likely to have multiple technicians come and go and the end result will be hit and miss each time. So from that perspective, this place is fine. You have to expect and accept that going in, otherwise go elsewhere. My experiences have been both good and bad, but it's a trade-off for the price and the convenience of just walking in whenever I feel like it.

I went here to get my nails done for my wedding. I had made an appointment but when I went in there was no technician available and I had to wait 20 mins until someone was available. I asked for gel french tips and that's what I received, good quality nails which lasted at least two weeks - after which I returned to get them removed in preparation for a outdoors honeymoon.

The service was disappointing. At no point did the technician attempt to make any kind of conversation with me, she preferred to talk to the other consultants or not at all. When I informed her that the pressure was hurting me, causing a sharp burning sensation in my cuticles and actually caused it to split open I received a heavy sigh but no apology.

I do not know if they have limited English or they simply expect you to know what the process is but they do not offer any directions on what I was meant to be doing. At one point she put away all her equipment and went to the next customer, after a moment of my hesitation she gestured to the heater at the back of the store impatiently.

Basically if you are happy to go in, get your nails done in silence or chat to the customer next to you, you'll get a nice set of nails at a reasonable price but nothing else.

I've been here several times now. Pretty good set up. A little english gets lost in translation but everyone figures each other out!
Staff always fit us in especially if you don't have an appointment, and they are lovely and just get on and get things done.
Its a real family business-(read..little ones running around being naughty and cute) but as a mum I'm cool with that!!
Local, well priced and fast.

Approximate cost: $20-

Woah! The smell. This place reaks of nail polish remover. Hold your breath and don't go near any naked flames for a while! They do a nice gel nail set. I always go for the french manicure. They last a few weeks and the quality is good. They're a bit artificial looking, as you'd expect. The girls are friendly enough, but it's a bit like your typical nail shop...conveyor belt, get you in and out. As they have limited English it's really hard to understand what you're supposed to do next, do I stay here under the nail heater or do I get up and leave. Noone tells you where you're meant to go next and they look at you a bit funny if you don't work it out. Oh well! They do nice nails for what you'd expect to pay. They do fit you in at a minutes notice but what I don't like is that they don't speak English much and tend to chat to each other. Have you ever seen that episode of Seinfeld when Elaine gets her nails done at a similar salon and feels like they're talking about her. It's sort of like that...but I don't quite get the same paranoia. I think they're just chatting, but it's a bit off putting.

Approximate cost: $50+

My daughter had her nails done here, as she had heard they are very good! They are fantastic, great range, and fantastic value for money. Thankyou!

I love getting my nails done and here when I asked for a rebalance instead of a refill they just fitted me in, no problems. Really lovely staff. Warning: do not let our voucher be out of date, they will NOT honour it.

I have been here and got my eyebrows waxed a few times, they can nearly always squeeze me in when i don't have an appointment (however this probably keeps someone else waiting) and do an ok job. they do not shape them just tidy them up.
the staff there are not overly friendly or talkative

Approximate cost: $10

I wanted gel nails for my Wedding so booked to have french tip gels done on my fingers and toes.
The final result was pretty good but the entire hour and a half was spent listening to the nail technician talk to another staff member in Vietnamese. She also misunderstood/forgot what I had requested (as in rounded tips) probably because she was too busy talking to the other nail technician.
That said she did a pretty good job, was quick and thorough and was extremely pleasant. My toes cost me $60 and my fingers $45 as they have a special on at the moment. Acrylics as usual are a little bit cheaper than the gels

Approximate cost: $30 - $65
