I have taken all my animals there - four cats and three dogs - over the last ten years and have found them outstanding.

Very unprofessional with rude staff. Especially Annika! Will lie about what they have told you. Do Not Recommend.

I am not usually one to complain but I feel the two vet staff I saw could have helped my dog much sooner than they did through administering antibiotics earlier. She was bleeding from the nose for weeks and really suffered. After some inconclusive tests she was finally given antibiotics which I was told would only provide temporary relief from a secondary infection. Over half a year later and she is totally fine. There was talk of cutting her face open after an MRI and it was all very expensive and bleak. In the end we decided she was too old to be put through all of that and agreed on antibiotics. It was a horrible ordeal over Christmas and New Year waiting for my dog to pass away as the smell coming from her bleeding nose and her struggle to breath made it appear like her time was coming to a painful end. The antibiotics helped straight away and she was back to her normal self. I was told she was not given antibiotics sooner because it was unclear what they were targeting and the fact of antibiotic resistance but surely the need was great enough to outweigh the risks. I felt like going somewhere else for a second opinion but I had already invested so much money at this vet so followed through. Perhaps they did the right thing but watching my dog suffer like that is something I will never forget and I feel that this practice was not invested enough in my dogs welfare.

A very good experience.
The vet lady was soothing to my dog and was knowlegable with her diagnosis. Quick and calm and readily answered any questions we had.
Price was comparable to most of the other vets in the area.

Great family owned Vet practice. The two owners are lovely.

Our experience with the front desk staff has been mixed, with some being lovely and others sour and unwelcoming.

I don't recommend the puppy school through there if you are looking for a causal, more socialising your dogs, environment. It's more of a 'our way or the highway', promoting show dogs and trying to sell branded foods and training.

I took my rabbit here to be desexed and microchipped. It was more expensive and not as welcoming as my regular vet however they did a great job with the surgery and there were no complications afterwards. My rabbit is much calmer and has ceased burrowing completely.

If my regular vet is unavailable, I will be happy to take my rabbit back to Paws Galore.

I would recommend all to Paws Galore. We've only really seen the vet Philippa when we've been but have seen the vet Stewart once. Both were really nice but Philippa talks to us and our dog Billy the whole time which is great. Never would we go anywhere else. All staff are really nice and very caring. Great for anxious parents and their babies :)

I have taken both of my dogs here for check ups and was very impressed with the first vet we saw, she was very caring and seemed to be really listening to what I had to say. On the second dog visit we saw a male vet, and I was not so impressed, he barely spoke and didn't really seem that interested in the dog. He also had someone else in the room that just stood there the whole time, was not introduced and I still don't know what she was doing there. When I left I had to wait for reception to complete a personal conversation before I was served and then it seemed to be with some effort.

The staff are excellent, the customers are always friendly and they do specialised treatment in all areas. They have extremely good surgeons and have much to offer in medicines and scripts.
