Recommend to anyone who buys things over the internet as it is the safest way to pay for things. It is also good to have an account if you belong to on line communities that pay cash for surveys, etc. as they will pay into your paypal account and then you can transfer money in and out as you wish to other bank accounts.

I love paypal, it make life so much easier especially if you love to buy online. It is safe and secure. You can receive and send all currencies to anywhere in the world. Yes there are fees occured but they are so much less than the banks that I would never go directly through a bank again for overseas payments.

Charges sellers a fortune, everything is in the interest and protection of the buyers!
They charge fees to receive payments from ebay buyers including taking ocmmission out of postage - and they hold sellers funds for 4-5 days before putting it into the recipients account, when it takes it immediately from the payers account!!!

I've been a Paypal member for many, many years. In one case I was not sent good I ordered and Paypal reimbursed me the full amount! Buyer protection like that is truly amazing. However, in the past, Paypal has been rather steep on fees for sellers, and used to fee people to access their own money. Recently, Paypal has fixed this.
All in all, I'd say Paypal is excllent for buyers, and fairly good for sellers.
Not to mention - you can do international buying and selling with much more ease.

Just wanted to put a positive comment for these guys - they honored their agreement to pay up if something went wrong, they did. Took about two weeks and money was there - really happy.

There was a great delay in inquiries sent to paypal, the website was easy to send and receive money but you have to wish hard you don't need to contact them for anything as they may take weeks or months to respond.

I've been using Paypal Australia for just over 2 years. Very happy with their service. I prefer to pay online with paypal as it reduces disclosure of my CC details. The system has been robust and dependable.
