This place is terrible. The food was so salty, full of MSG and tasteless. The service was OK, however they did forget 1 of our meals. The place was also filthy. Don't check under the Lazy Susann's whatever you do!! The restaurant floor was sticky to walk on. A huge waste of money and time.

A chinese restaurant with a difference. The food is excellent, and the staff are very friendly, it does get really busy at times, and you might have to wait for more than 1/2 an hour to be served. But that is a small price to pay, for a great taste sensation, one has to experience

Okay, as a lover of chinese food, although peacock palaces food was 'okay' it was nothing compared to the chinese you can find in newcastle. The service was pretty good, however I found it was not good value for money.

I love Chinese food, and Peacock Palace strengthens my love for it. The service is magnificent and the food does not take very long to be prepared. However, the food is brilliant, which normally requires more time. It isn't expensive, so it is a very nice place to have a family dinner.

This is a great place to either dine in or get a take away chinese meal from. They offer a great variety of all the usual meals you expect to find at a Chinese restaurant as well as a few of their own speciality meals. They offer a BYO wine only but have bar facilities that offer beer, spirits and wine. The service is exceptional and the staff will go out of their way to ensure that you have an enjoyable time. it is a child friendly restaurant with highchairs readily available. They do get busy on Saturday evenings so it is a good idea to book ahead.

Approximate cost: $20

peacock palace has a lovely view of the lake maquarie bay, graet staff very friendly and helpful with the menu. The food is very yum. I had the 3 course banquet which was really great, full of flavour and left me satisfied. I would reccommend this restaurant for couples or a family occasion.

Approximate cost: $20-40$

Old building, traditional Chinese restaurant atmosphere to remind you the old times.

Dam good food especially honey chicken, garlic king prawns, shredded steak, salt pepper squid or crab and spring rolls.

It is a good place for family gathering.

Approximate cost: $15-20
