I always go to Pakwaan when I am in Hornsby. Butter Chicken is one of my favourite foods, and Pakwaan make the best Butter Chicken and Chicken Korma. For $15 you get 2 curries of your choice on rice, a Naan, and a drink. The Naan Breads are also fantastic, especially their Cheese Naan.

The Cambridge Hotel books some of the best live entertainment in the world. I have been there many times to watch bands who put on a great show. It has a very good musical atmosphere and attracts people who all have a passion for music. Drinks are cheap and the bartenders are always friendly.

The Mark Hotel is the best pub/hotel in Newcastle. Live entertainment is always fantastic, and The Mark Hotel have a $15 1/2 Rack Of Rib night on Tuesday nights. Best ribs in Newcastle. The place is run by a family who are the nicest people and they always cater to your every need.

I chose this place to have lunch with a friend who was leaving for Japan for a year, and I was not disappointed. Approx. $8 for a full-sized dish. Our meal consisted of multiple dishes, rice, and a hot chocolate each and it cost $30 in total. Absolutely amazing food and the waitress was so lovely.

Snafu has a bunch of old and new records, and they never fail to impress. Every time I go in, the store clerk greets with positivity, and always wants to help look for something. If the record you want isn't there, they will order one to ship to the store ready for you to purchase. The value for each of the records is great too.

White's Records has an extensive range of records and the staff are always friendly and willing to lend a helping hand. If you are looking for something in particular, but the store does not have it, they are more than happy to order one in for you. The store is nice and clean, and maintains good customer-staff relationships.

The Mosh Pit is a fantastic place, because it is both a cafe and a record store. The service is lovely, as the store clerk constantly offers to help find a record for you. The place itself is well kept and is a great idea. I highly recommend checking out this store/cafe.

Best Takeaway shop in Newcastle. The chips are cooked to perfection and the burgers are great. They use a perfect amount of chicken salt and the sauces that use on the chips and burgers are great. The don't take long to make the meals and they charge very affordable prices

I live just up the road from Music Solutions, and they offer great prices on all musical instruments, and the tutors are awesome and friendly. They don't charge too much and they provide quality lessons.

Service is a bit dodgy but the food is really good. It may take some time for them to bring it out, but it is definitely worth it when you take your first bite. The prices are quite affordable so overall, Ho Wah is a good place to go for a family dinner.
