Jonathan is very compassionate in the loss of your pet, and his service is great could not have asked for a better person to handle the loss and cremation of my beloved Jess and if ever I need a pet cremated again in the future I will surely be using Pearly Mates Pet Cremations.

When my small dog had to be euthanised I brought him home. I could not cope with finding yet another spot in the garden to bury him. So I sent off emails overnight to hear about cremation services and their pricing in Melbourne. Jonathan replied promptly. Their service included collecting my little boy the next day from a designated pick-up point in my garden when I was at work and return of his ashes to me personally the next week on a Saturday in a modest, decorative scatter tin. He arrived, on time as arranged, and feel his experience, professionalism and understanding of his client's needs in their bereavement was first rate. It was a tremendous relief to have used the services of Pearly Mates.

Made my loss easier with their friendly and caring nature. They came on the same day and returned on the day/time they said they would. They went the extra mile and put the ashes of my darling cat Bro in a vintage style tin with a picture of a cat on it that looked just like him. Our darling Jelly Bean the 3 legged Kelpie lived a full life for almost 15 years. Pearly Mates was recommended to us by our beloved vet (Rowville Veterinary Clinic). Her passing was absolutely devastating as it is for all pet owners and those are the ones who go to such great lengths to have their companions by their side for the rest of their own time. Pearly Mates provided a service that, came with empathy, understanding and such care for our little girl. She has been delivered back to us today in the most beautiful sealed blackwood box and will now be home forever. Thanks Jonathan, you were such a pleasure to know during this process and allowed us the time we needed to grieve the loss of our beautiful girl. You really are a treasure of a find Jonathan, and as much as we loved dealing with you and your company, we hope it's a while in between visits, although at this point in the next 10 or so years there will likely be another couple. Our Beloved (Cat) Sam died at the young age of 12 yrs , and we where devastated. I searched the Web, and came across a few Pet Cremations. Pearly Mates where the only ones to email me back, and with kindness explained their process. Our Sam was picked up from our home in Sale, at the time they said they would. And Jon rang and organised Sams' ashes to be returned home, also at the time Jon had mentioned. The Box we chose was beautiful. At this time of complete sadness for us, Sam was looked after and returned to us, in a beautiful wooden box. And for this we cannot thank them enough. We did not have to worry about anything, as Jon took care of it all. There where no hidden extras in cost. I cannot recommend Pearly Mates highly enough.

Our dear sweet boy Fluffy died suddenly, and I was so over putting my companion animals in the ground :( What to do? David, my vet, recommended Pearly Mates, so I contacted Jon and he was so fabulous from the start.

A lovely man with a sweet empathy, he has an arrangement with my vet, and so collected Fluffy from there and returned him there.

I chose a beautiful blackwood standard urn for Fluffy with a silver engraved plaque. It was returned in an organza bag with a stat dec declaring that the urn contains only the ashes of Fluffy. Beautiful and caring :)

I would recommend Jon and Pearly Mates to anyone looking for a caring and sensitive companion animal crematorium service. You will get all the information you need on their website, but Jon is always available via phone or email.

I would like to thank Jon, Russell and all the team at Pearly Mates for helping me during a very difficult period. I had many questions to ask initially, and was happy with the honest and compassionate response I received from Jon. I really felt as though I was leaving my beloved Harley in good and safe hands, and he wasn't just another animal. Thank you Russell, who picked up my baby.. You have an amazing and compassionate 'bed side manner' so to speak! This is always going to be a difficult and very emotional time, but the genuine comfort and understanding my friend and I received, will never be forgotten. Having worked within the animal industry for 13 years, I got to see the good and the bad.. When I was recommended Pearly Mates when my beautiful Kitty was PTS I was nothing but incredibly impressed. Jon's compassion and thoughtfulness during this horrid time was amazing as I was a mess. Everything I asked for was done and beautifully.. I asked for a different box to be made, with no hesitation this was done. When Jon dropped my baby off.. I felt better knowing that he had taken care of him and I did not feel like a number. As such when my beautiful shepherd Teddles time came up, Jon organised a time with the vets (as she was PTS at home) to collect her.. Again fantastic service, he was so good. I asked for another "my design box" was made with out hesitation,And the engraving work is spot on. She was delivered to me at a horse show at my request as I wasn't home. Again service was %100. I would never ever go anywhere else.
