I have been training with Michael Hermann PT and Performance Revolution online for close to 12 months. I use my local gym with the programs that is linked to a fitness app. We have not long come back from a 2 - month caravan trip without internet and Michael had downloaded workouts for the entire trip. He is very thorough and is contactable all the time. I get reviewed once a week and send him videos to get my form right.

I have been training with Michael for 3 years nearly and have gone from being not able to lift my dog to being able to bench press a barbell. Before I started I had never set foot in a gym and now I feel confident in my abilities and enjoy going.

Michael and his team provide me with 3 workouts a week, 2 of which I do on my own in the gym. I have constant support around me to ensure I am confident with the exercises

I’m currently training with the Performance Revolution team and I’m loving it! The team provides me with information, support as well as having patience, especially as a newbie to the whole gym aspect. It’s only been a few months but I’m already seeing results. Not only that, but it made me very confident going to to gym and doing the workouts by myself! This package also includes support in having a healthy eating patterns as you work towards your weight goals which is very important. The specialists are not going to coddle you, but gently teach, advise and guide you to understand what it takes to create and look after your best body.

They really take the extra time to get to know your particular needs.

I cannot praise Michael and the team at Performance Revolution highly enough! I have been consistently going to the gym and working with PTs for 8 years now but I have to say that Michael and his team have had the biggest impact on my results than anything in that time. Their skill level surpasses that of any of the trainers I have worked with. The classes are really thought out (they really are full body workouts) and Michael provides consistent variety which means I stay motivated and most importantly sore! I have never once felt like I wasn’t making progress or the exercises were getting mundane or weren’t challenging enough. The flexibility of the programming especially the online options means that making the gym/classes is so much easier so I have never been more fit, more motivated or seen results so quickly. The product provided by Michael and Performance Revolution is a completely holistic program. I love it!

I have been training with Performance Revolution for over 12 months now and the results are amazing. Michael and the team focus on holistic training which includes a range of awesome strength and cardio classes ( both in the gym and then, thanks to COVID-19 online through Zoom) and they can also help with nutrition to make sure your diet is making the most of the training . The technical expertise of the trainers is second to none, which means my technique has improved and they’ve been able to focus on weak areas to help me avoid injury. The stretch classes have also been fantastic for increasing my flexibility and staving off the dangers of sitting at a desk everyday. I have never felt stronger, fitter and more motivated. Whether you’re new to group fitness or looking for a change, definitely give Performance Revolution a try you’ll love it!!!!

I took classes with Michael at Performance Revolution for over a year in 2019-2020. He runs a professional team, is a knowledgeable teacher, and an excellent coach. Michael has a quiet and authoritative manner when training. He readily and ably explains as much detail as one is in a position to absorb for any exercise, and judges well how hard to push during a training session. That said, he ultimately leaves the impetus on you to drive your own training and learning.

I am in the Defence Force, and I greatly appreciated that Michael was unendingly accommodating of my sometimes erratic schedule. He worked multiple absences of several weeks into my program and billing, and then adapted to COVID restrictions smoothly, always making the administration effortless for me. I also came from a position of having done no strength training before, and was very skinny! Through a mixture of a nutritional focus, incremental training, and education, Michael and his team have set me on a sustainable path to continue to train and improve, and was a great person to start this process with. If I were still based in Brisbane I'd still be training with Michael.

Met Mike end of 2019 when he introduced his new class... I joined his group training sessions with functional training/high intensity circuit format. (I) and participants were still able to interact with each other and with ample coaching and corrections from Mike especially during fatigue period. Most materials cover multi-muscle groups use which is excellent in burning calories. There are A LOT of options to gradually build strength, mobility and endurance - from reduced range of movement (limited reach) or just “go all out”... Definitely caters for all levels - depending on the level of individual. Mike covers each aspects from demonstration, corrections and intensity adjustment tightly. Well done Mike for developing nicely structured class.

Michael was recommended to me by a trusted source as I was having trouble finding a trainer that I could click with. Dubious at first, it didn't take long for me to feel very comfortable as a result of Michael's patient, mature and personable attitude towards helping me achieve my desired strength and fitness goals. I have been training with Performance Revolution for several months now and I feel confident in Michael's vast fitness, anatomy and strength knowledge, particularly his attention to detail in regards to technique and correcting my form to get maximum benefit. I am now also working with Louise who is equally as focussed in helping me achieve my strength training goals. Michael and Louise are always punctual and keen to move into the sessions which really helps when I'm not feeling so enthusiastic. I also love getting my appointment reminders and list of workouts at the beginning of every week. I highly recommend Performance Revolution and their wonderful staff to help achieve your optimum results in regards to strength, health and fitness training .

I have been training with Performance Revolution for over a year, doing combined strength and cardio training. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a personal trainer. Mike and Louise have kept me motivated and focused on achieving my fitness goals, and always ensure I'm maintaining proper form during exercise. Before I came to Michael and the Performance Revolution team, I had on some level given up the hope of getting my ‘dream bod’ back. I’d been out of shape and gaining weight for over 6 years, trying and failing at various programs on my own and feeling pretty defeated about it. So becoming my sister’s bridesmaid in her upcoming wedding was the catalyst I needed to bite the bullet and seek professional help in this area of my life, fast!

Once I took on Michael, before I knew it I was being bombarded almost daily by different members from his little fitness squad. Suddenly my life was immersed in nutrition, education and training - but I loved it! What used to be a chore that I’d dreaded became fun and addictive. I realised what was missing before I’d engaged performance revolution - direction in both the gym and the kitchen.

Dylan is a wealth of knowledge on nutrition with practical suggestions and advice. He genuinely wants for you to understand his recommendations so that your relationship with food changes forever, rather than just going through the motions of crash dieting and shortcuts for fast results.

The collective expertise of these guys plus Omar too, is at such a high standard. They’re completely in sync with each other communicating regularly about me - my goals, training and behaviours - and know the formula that’s going to help me. This is honestly rare to find in an oversaturated market of health and fitness gurus.

I’ve been training with Michael for 4 months now and have lost about 8kg, plus i’m gaining tone. What’s even more valuable than this though is that I actually feel empowered and confident within myself to keep the weight off as the team have taught me well.
So now I’m just grateful that I had the foresight to not ignore the “free PT” msg I received from Michael at the beginning of this journey. I know I wouldn’t be on the way to achieving this lifelong goal today without the guidance of he and the PR team!

I am a 59 year old usually healthy outdoorsy woman.
I have been with Performance Revolution since early 2017. I'd had some surgeries and had become quite weak and gained some weight. My daughter and then future son in law had been members for 2 years and recommended Michael and the team to me.

Michael was aware of my limitations and my fear of injury.
I wanted to get strong and fit and be able to feel and look good in my ''mother of the bride'' outfit and dance at the wedding.

Michael works out a program that best suits me. The exercises are explained clearly and he makes sure my technique is correct before I progress to the next level.
I amaze myself at what I'm capable of now. 2 years ago I could hardly stand up straight, now I can lift dead lifts and press ups and assisted chin ups, also abdominal exercises are incredible.

The nutrition component is very helpful too. I've lost about 12kg and dropped 2 dress sizes. Very happy side effect of the process.

I am back running 5k and playing tennis and doing all the things I love to do.
Michael is very friendly and has expert knowledge in all areas of fitness and rehabilitation and nutrition. Always positive and helpful and promotes confidence in my ability.

I have been training with Michael and the Performance Revolution team for 6 months now and love it! I have noticed significant improvement in my fitness and especially my strength - I have always had weak shoulders and could only ever watch people do chin ups - now I can do three sets of 8!
Michael’s program is it's consistently challenging but never boring or the same. He is always positive and thinking about what helps remedially aswell. The team communicates regularly, suggesting exercise and nutrition interventions whilst providing information and tips on improved performance.

I am 60 years old and sail competitively every weekend in a 2 up MG skiff. There is no way I could achieve that without regular strengthening & conditioning and core exercises. I highly recommend the team’s holistic approach to maximise performance and health.

I joined Performance Revolution 14 weeks ago and I have enjoyed every minute. Performance Revolution is just what I needed. Michael and his team are highly professional, prompt and courteous, as well as technically proficient. The training sessions with Michael are extremely technical and focused and results driven. They constantly provide more than I expected in the way of added information, timely follow ups by their nutritionist, exercise planner and admin. Nothing is left for me to follow up. Michael has been my personal trainer for a little over 3 years. The body transformation that I have achieved in that time has been incredible. I lost 19kg in the first 6 months and with a focus on strength and conditioning I have added 9kg of muscle over the next two and a half years. Michael has kept me motivated and focused, and his attention to technique is a big driver in me being able to hit my targets and continuously move forward.
