I emailed ahead with my specific requirements needing a regrowth bleach and was given a quote of $40. I left the salon 4 hours later with a burning scalp from a student who couldnt use a hairdryer or check the temperature of water, remnants of dye still left in my hair and having to pay $100. Although my hair did look good in the end, I definitely wouldnt recommend this service to anyone

I went here with a voucher - $10 for a shampoo, head massage, blowdry and hand massage (usually $35). I probably would have paid the $35 - not a bad price for getting your hair styled in the city. The head massage felt nice and the hand massage was done with some relaxing scented oils.

The hair took a fair bit longer than it needed to. The lady dried my hair with a hair dryer, and then began to straighten it with the dryer. It was very very thick. So she then used a straightening iron to straighten it (which she could have just done from the beginning and had the same result). They're students, though, so fair enough. I wouldn't really trust them with anything serious like a cut or colour personally, but I'm fussy and my hair isn't easy to deal with.

Inexpensive but the quality wasnt there. But, it is understandable because they were trainees. If you are after cheap service where you dont mind to go back there 4 weeks after, this is the place. But if you are a buat person and wish the cut last, I dont think this is the right place.

Good caring service provided by students under the supervision of qualified trainers. Good location. Unfortunately closed on weekends. Also, since students do all the work a simple haircut can take upto 3 hours. However, the price is really good. Hair products used are made in France and not the cheap Chinese versions. So it is one of my favourite places.

I regularly go there for permannent straightening of my hair. Love the place. Great value for money. Moreover, they use good quality hair products. All the service are provided by trainee students supervised by teachers. On the other hand, this is not a good place for a hair cut. After two catastrophic hair cuts I only go there now for good quality hair straightening.

They permed my hair and the stylist complained the whole way through and refused to call one of the teachers repeatedly when I was asked her to. When I went to get my hair repermed, they left the solution on for 50 minutes, and my hair burned off. The nape of my neck was also burned, and their response was, "Well did you tell the stylist the solution was on your neck? Don't come back here for a perm."

Great value. Trainee hairdressers provide the service.
They spend as much time as necessary, and are given guidance by the qualified instructors supervising.
As long as you are patient, provide direction and clarify on exactly what you are after - you will get a very good quality cut, at a fraction of the price.

It is very cheap to have your hair cut here as it is done by trainees. I love that I am helping someone train and at the same time having a service done for a very reasonable price. All work is overseen by professionals and I have never had a problem

I get my haircut here all the time. The students are very careful and for $15 it is fantastic value. The only thing is the whole process takes a long time, be prepared to spend about 1.5 hours there for a wash, cut and blowdry.

I visited on my lunch break to get a sneaky blow dry to look nice for after work drinks. My hair look fabulous and it was sooo in inexpensive. Also, the student who did my hair was really sweet. Thanks guys!
