This centre is aimed more at toddlers than it is for older kids so probably best visited during school hours when you have just your toddler/s with you. It is a very safe environment and you can have a coffee while they play. I would go back, it was fun

This centre is specifically advertised as many for preschoolers yet when going on a weekend there are always older children around which is very frustrating as a parent with younger toddlers. This aside, the centre is great for younger kids as the equipment is aimed at the under 5's. On a weekday during school hours is the best time to go as the kids wont get bowled over by an older child.

The food is very reasonably priced and whilst it isnt anything exciting, it is food the kids will eat. It is hard to get a table but we just pop our stuff down and play until a table frees up. So be it!

Entry is on the pricey side (but so are all play centres these days) but is still a great way to waste an hour or so on a rainy sunday.

I have been going to Playdays for the last two years, never have I had a dirty cup or a dirty table. I have also been attending other play-centers around this area, of which all hold the same standard.
The staff are always smiling and know me by my first name and my daughters. Coffee is okay, but I love the Hot Chocolates. i have walked up to where the food is prepared and it is very clean, and I have also seen the staff cleaning all the equipment in the morning just as they are opening, this has been on more than one occasion. It is slightly a bit expensive, but what isn't these days, maybe you should take your kids to the park where it is free!
I think you need to experience this place when it isn't busy as well to be be able to make a true judgment. Also I would like to say, If it is so terrible why are they always busy????

Always clean this playcentres is one for the little tikes. Little cubby houses, ride on cars, a big slide and ball pits and balancing beams make up this play centre. You can sit at the tables and see the whole area, and access it quickly. The cafe is really great, the prices are sooo cheap!! Sometimes food / drinks are slow as they are busy, but very yummy. Parking is underneath the building.

Approximate cost: $9 or $8 for members

My experience here has been similar to the other ratings. They are always busy, the place is quite dirty and by after lunch everything is everywhere and there are no balls left in the ballpit (they are all over the floor). However, my daughter enjoys the play centre as its best suited to her age group rather than some others in this area.

I was almost too scared to try this place out given the above reviews! I went last Friday morning (10am) and there was plenty of parking and I got a table easily. I ordered a muffin which was quite nice and priced very reasonably ($2.20). The kids area was great - heaps to do. I didn't see any dirty equipment and my table was clean. I didn't order a drink...but everyone else seemed to and I didn't see anyone peering into their cups and complaining they were dirty!

The lighting was fine - not sure why it would be so bad given it's an indoor sports centre and they would need good lighting for night games! So that complaint isn't valid I think.

Not sure how busy it would have gotten after I left, but it was still quite reasonable in the carpark when I did leave at 11.30. I'll be going back next week.

Approximate cost: $5.00

The equipment is great and my little ones love it, but it's all so dirty. It's unpleasant to sit at dirty tables (if you can get one) with food all over the floor. Also the children's equipment is dirty and so is the floor they play on. I used to go there quite a lot, but my children got sick after every single visit so I don't go anymore. It's a lost opportunity though. Lots of people would use it if it was well maintained and clean (e.g. everyone in my mother's group said they wouldn't go back, but only because they thought it was dirty)

Let's talk finances. I have three young children. It costs me a total of $21 just to get in to playdays. And what do you get for your buck? The joy of being able to sit at a sticky table - if you are lucky enough to get a table. And, the pleasure of paying through the nose for the most basic and revolting food and coffee this side of the equator. And no, I don't believe that to be an exageration.
Furthermore, because of the dingy lighting and general grubbiness of the place, the whole experience can be best described as the play center you take your children to post appocolypse. After a few minutes of being in there I do find my mind wandering to canned goods and stored water.

I've been going to this Playdays regularly for the past 2.5 years and I've recently stopped going as it's just too busy. They let in far too many people for the tables they have and often lengthy waits for food orders. I really think they need to have an entrance quota and then they need to turn people away. If the 2 carparks are full outside you can bet you're not going to find anywhere to sit inside! A small group of friends and I recently had to wait up to an hour to nab a table for 4 adults and 5 kids. I can't be bothered going there anymore, it's too crowded.

I found the staff to be unhelpful, it seem to be under staffed (weekends). I brought a coffee which was cold and in a dirty cup.
