Be smart! Learn from me! Expect to be ripped off by this company. Expect a proper breakdown of charges, parts and labour and do your research, and get other quotes. This is a very expensive service that I will never use again.
I can't say they have particularly good work either as our pressure valve was leaking and caused us a lot of inconvenience. It was fixed - they are polite but charge way VERY high rates. My advice. GO ELSEWHERE !!!!!

Rang up for quote was given first appointment 7-8am and when hadn't arrived by 8 rang to see where they were and what about the on-price guarantee was almost abused because there was traffic and shouldn't have been given such a small window, etc. Very poor customer service and told he would be there in 10minutes. Half an hour lately when he arrived and looked at job (leaking shower repair) he said we can't do that. There website said shower installations!! Was then given a quote of $1400 dollars to pull out the old shower tile base and change the drain, but they couldn't do any more and have the cheek to want $50 for such a quote. Never going to get my work.

We contacted Plumbfirst as our sewer plumbing was blocked which was quite urgent as we have young children who need baths. They quoted us $500 to unblock which is already too much but we accepted as it was urgent. They plumber that arrived was extremely rude and made sexist remarks to my wife. He spent 10 minutes with a pole down the drain, told us he'd fixed it, and left without testing it. He tested it and discovered it was still blocked. After calling the office, James was very aggressive and told us we were uneducated and weren't qualified to tell him whether the job was completed properly or not. He swore at me several times and told me I'd have to pay again for someone to come back to complete the job.
We later discovered the plumber hasn't been licensed since 2012 and submitted a complaint to the building authority. We finally got our refund a month later.
Plumbfirst were rude, unlicensed, and put my family's health at risk. They should be shut down. For proof of this review, search the plumbers license register for this registration ID: 104134.

They are really a great business! The plumber was on time, I didn't have to wait all afternoon like with other plumbers. They are also available 24/7 for emergencies and offer a discount on certain days. They are great! Definitely recommend.
