Had the family with us and were looking somewhere to have dinner. We came accross Portia's. We could not rate them high enough. Fast and friendly service. The owner ( Portia Young ), even came to our table , and introduced herself. We have since learned that past and present prime Minister eat there. Very helpful staff.

Although this place is rather expensive, the food is great. For eat in, the prices seem a bit much, but they are reasonable value for takeaway. The food is really nice though. Typical chinese restaurant in that they churn the food out pretty fast and the service is basic, but if you're in a rush it can be great. I've been a few times and all the dishes I've had so far are very nice.

One of the better chinese resteraunts around. Portia owned the Diamond resaurant at Karabar shopping centre, Queanbeyan many moons ago and it hasn't been quite the same since she left. But her new(ish) restaurant in Kingston is great.
