Fantastic team of men. The Prompt guys are so efficient. Brilliant with the kids and went well beyond my husbands and my expectations. We have no hesitation in referring anyone to their services. First time ever that we have had a move with no breakages. Thanks a lot. You guys were awesome.

BEWARE, do not use this company. They are the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. First of all they were 2 hours late & they took on my job knowing they would not be able to finish it!! We were still moving at 10 o'clock at night & they left half of the boxes at the old house & REFUSED to finish the move. They demanded to be paid while they held all our furniture hostage & then just dumped all boxes & everything else in the garage. The WORST company EVER!! Do yourself s favour & don't use them!!!

Hi Jane,

I'm sorry to hear your comments! We find them to be unfair and miss leading!
We have a great relationship with most of our clients, due to the fact we are professional and we do as much as physically possible.
At the time of your booking we told you that you would be the second job and the approximate start time would be around lunchtime ( to accomodate your move date, due to late booking).

We also arrived four days prior to pre-pack the house items.
The garage was to be packed by Steve (husband) and all furniture was to be dismantled (beds ect) Steve mentioned that he could handle the smaller items.
We also took as much furniture downstairs prior, to reduce the amount of hours needed for the removal day.
When we arrived we found a gararage that was 3/4 empty when we quoted the job, full of extra furniture items, from a family members property?

On the day of the move the beds were only 1/2 dismantled, various smaller items (knick backs
We asked for a 20% deposit prior to the pre- pack date and a balance paid on delivery, however we didn't receive any payment!

We moved two.truck loads of furniture including the extra garage items , we suggested to you that you would have to take the smaller items not boxed in your van due to the limited time frame.
I also offered to send someone to help with the smaller things the next day as it was approaching 10 pm.

Again we are sorry to hear your comments!
We did as much as we could for you with the hours available to us, we tried to accommodate you with your required date however with the extra items ( nearly twice the volume of furniture than quoted ) we could not take all the small loose items.

Kind regards
Darren

Prompt removals should change its name. The reason you could not complete the job was because you arrived 2 hours late!! Do not try and say that it was my fault. You did come to pack up the house a few days before, but most of the house had been packed & all you had to do was the kitchen , nursary & walk in. I showed you the extra items in the garage on that day so you were full aware of them but we had also removed some items such such a big sofa (3 pieces). I did not book late there were many other companies available at the time of booking. Most professional companies present a invoice at the end of a job not demand to be paid before unloading! You refused to put the fridge into the house so I could plug it in & get food back into it since I have three small children! I think it is a laugh that you are trying to defend your actions! You were terrible, so unprofessional, inconsiderate & could not have cared that I needed to be out of the other house so the new people could move in the next day. After your actions that might do you think I want you to come back the next morning! I needed the job done promptly and correctly so my husband & his brother had to hire a truck (extra expense) & do it properly! I don't know how you can justify your actions! I also took numerous car loads over to the house BEFORE you even arrived that day! When you refused to take any other items from the old house & left I asked if you could at least take a few smaller items so I could at least get my kids settled for the night & you laughed! Worst company ever do not use!!!

I am the fifth in the line of friends and family members to use Prompt Removals. The glowing reports about Darren and his team were well warranted with such a professional approach and very reasonable cost. We moved from Mornington to Adelaide with no fuss and no breakages...Wonderful stuff !!
