Don't be put off by the restaurant decor - the food and service more than makes up for it!
A great spot for lunch on a sunny day, overlooking the Hopkins River. I've never had a bad meal here. The menu changes seasonally (sadly, not something all Warrnambool restaurants do), plus there is a great wine list with some local regional wines listed (again, not something a lot of Warrnambool restaurants are offering).
We'll keep coming back. Highly recommended!

On a recent day trip to Warrnambool our first stop was Proudfoots. We sat outside as the hopkins river lapped right up against the deck. Although it was too early for lunch judging by the wonderful and tantalising aromas coming from the kitchen and a glance at what the other diners where eating would definately make us want to dine at Proudfoots next time we visit Warnambool

Fantastic place to eat, especially in warmer weather. Make sure to get a booking on weekends though as it tends to get busy, especially around holidays. Meals are definitely on the larger side but that doesn't mean they lose out in the taste department. Always enjoy the meal and the view is wonderful to top it all of

What can I say the food is amazing! the price is affordable and the service is excellent. We are holding an event at Proudfoots and they have been approachable and working in with what we need. Highly recommend they will not disappoint you.

The Decor wasnt up to much in the area where we were guests at a 21st in smaal Bar area needs updating
BUT OH THE FOOD was the best i have had in the 36years i have been an Australian Resident The Scollops were out of this world., honestly it wwould have been impossible to get any better in Taste Texture, and cooked to better than Perfection, The Pork Rib were god but no where did there standard come up t the scollop

Stopped here on our way home from Melbourne. What a beautiful spot to have lunch. Sitting outside overlooking the water eating a lovely meal. Good service and good food. Highly recommend.

What a amazing restaurant. Historic boat house converted into a restaurant and bar. Top class meals and great service. the seafood selection is good. they have heaps of different type meals though all great!!! its .lovely eating your meals looking over the sea!!
