Thankyou RACV for saving me! Forgot to get someone to start my car regularly when I went overseas and thankfully the RACV was there to restart my car when I returned to a flat battery!

A service every car owner needs. Always been very promt to come and when my car has failed. Towing services ect. Staff are friendly and helpful. Different roadside assistance plans to suit your needs. Racv also offer insurance and discounts for lots of popular tourist destinations.

After my car breaking down time and time again I finally signed up to RACV total care. Within 4 weeks my car broke down again, RACV got it going to get me home, then again 4 months later they came to the aide, they were so helpful, even towing my car just a few streets away. They were friendly, gave me great advice and spoke to me in a way I could understand (without all the car talk) I can't believe I didn't sign up sooner!! Thank you so much RACV life savers!

RACV What can I say about them. Friendly and helpful call centre staff when you ring them. When the man turns up he is very friendly and me being a young female who knows absolutely nothing about cars under the bonnet that is. Once he has had a look and worked out what is wrong then explains everything so I know what has happened he once had to tell me 4 times before I knew what was wrong and why it had happened.

Never have to wait long. I don't know about everyone else but I get a courtesy call from RACV to make sure someone came to me and had a look at my vehicle and to make sure I got home okay which is a very good thing shows they care about their customers and how they get on.

Never will have a bad thing to say about RACV.

I have had RACV roadside assistance total care ever since I got my licence and brought my first car. I have had to call them for help on more than one occasion and they have always been there quickly and been able to fix the problem with my car. Highly recommend roadside assist to everyone. It's great value for the price you pay. As well as having roadside assist, being a member of RACV gives you many discounts from insurance through to travel and shopping.

I had lost all steering in a multi level carpark. I called RACV and adviced them that the roof line was low and needed appropriate help. A small truck arrived and with a lot of effort by the guy we managed to get my 4wd out and onto the street where he was then able to load it onto the truck proper and brought me and the car safely home. All this in 35 degree heat and 2pm Saturday with lots of passing, sometimes unfriendly, traffic. The calmness under all sorts of stress was terrific. Well done to RACV

I've had to use them on a couple of occasions - getting stuck in a little country town after a part from the air-conditioning system fell off and damaged the engine - where they liaised with the local garage and got work completed, to having a total transmission failure in another suburb and being able to get towed back to home and to a repair place in a short time.

You never know when you're going to need help and having this service just means peace of mind.

There's nothing like the peace of mind when you're stuck at work 2 hours away and your wife is stuck on the freeway with 2 kids under 2. Knowing she'd be looked after and on her way home within an hour, like she was, very reassuring.

My wife and I were travelling in Western Australia and wanted to visit Mt Augustus. We left our caravan at Tom Price and drove down through Paraburdoo and along Ashburton Downs Road. At the Dooley Downs Road turnoff we had 145 Kms to our destination. In that 145 kms we had five punctures caused by sharp pieces of shale and used up all our plugs with one being unrepairable and limped into Mt Augustus camping ground after dark having driven the last 40 or so kilometres pumping up and driving five kilometres and then repeating the process on two tyres that were punctured but still had the pieces of shale partial plugging the holes. It was two days before anyone came along Dooley Downs Road and as they pulled into the campgroung they jacked up one of the rear tyres and plugged a hole in it so I was please that we were able to keep moving or it would have been a long wait.The owner of the Mt Augustus camp ground, a very spirited lady was especially good and allowed us to receive calls on her landline. RACV working with their counterparts in WA not only found where we could purchase tyres but also found a tow company who sent out a tray top and returned us to Carnarvon to have the tyres repaired and replaced and even a night's accommodation because we arrived after five and tyre shop was closed. It was a terrific experience and we will be keeping total care for future trips.

This is one of the best things I could have for me and my wife. The kids and her got stuck a few weeks ago, but with a phone call she was able to get the help I could not get her because I was at work.
