One of my favourites when I lived here, we would always head to this end of Burke Road rather than the more poplulated shopping/cafe strip. I love their curries and their pad thai.
Their version of prawn crackers are awesome with a satay sauce (not the usual pinky ones) . A little over average price but still good value.
My favourite would be chicken and cashews, pad thai and green curry! Yummo

This place is a great lunch time option, where your meal will cost you about $11-13. Its also very popular, and you might have to wait at peak hour, however, the staff are very good at moving people through.
Service is super fast (to ensure people move through quickly).
Its on of my favourites for a quick pad thai, although the thai green chicken is a good choice as well.
Approximate cost: $11-13 at lunch per person
absolutely delicious thai green curry - a classic done to perfection! love this place and can't wait to go back
Went with a group of ten friends & everyone loved the food, we all received our entrees & and after our main meals at the same time, the flovours were excellent and there was an excellent menu choice especially for dishes that were not made with coconut milk; it is rare for all meals to be good and for food to arrive at the same time when eating out in a group; only bad point the roti was a bit dry
Approximate cost: $20
Have been there at least once a month over the past few years as I live on Burke Road nearby. Food is always fantastic! They have good portions and nice service. Great takeaway and even deliver nearby!
Approximate cost: $20
Love the food there, all entrees and mains we've tried so far have been delicious, especially the Thai red and green curries. Very popular and always quite busy.
We prefer to get take away from this local restaurant as the service is soooooo slow & the restaurant is overcrowded & noisy. But the food is always of a high standard. Fish cakes are good. Noodles & curry are lovely. Medium price.
We had a party of 8 and were attended to as soon as we sat down with water being served.
After deciding on sharing dishes these were on the table in less than 15 min. The entrees were just enough to stave off the hungries, and the flavours were fresh and authentic.
Our mains arrived after another short wait and were to die for...every one of the dishes were hot, fresh flavours and enough to feed our tribe.
The service was not over the top, in fact the staff seemed to be on the quiet side which we prefer over waiters that ask you so many questions as if they are your best friends. These just did their job without fuss and efficiently.
The Larp Gai was the best I have ever eaten and is the number one reason we will be returning to delight in this dish again and again. As I have said before, the flavour was just startling and ingredients fresh and tasty. My husband does not like spicy foods and was initially unsure about menu selections, but there was nothing he ate that came any where near to "hot", and he has found a new favourite cuisine! Believe me that is pretty amazing!!
BTW...the takeaway service was very busy so I'm sure that matches our experience.
Approximate cost: $10
Fairly basic restaurant. It is very busy at peak times as there isn't another one like it close by. It does a good trade but the service isn't what you would like ideally and you get the feeling that the staff are a bit tired and you are one of a long number, which is probably true.
Has great curries particularly Massaman. Delicious entree Thai salads. Value for money is good. Would Recommend
Approximate cost: $15
