Bit on the expensive side however I was happy with the taste and the quality of the food. I chose to go here because it was busy, it looked good. I recommend the Shanghai pork dumplings and also the steamed greens with oyster sauce. <3

Bit exxy especially for the area however I was very happy with the service and quality of the meals. Ordered a variety of dumplings and greens with oyster sauce. Food was quick to come out and piping hot.
BYO wine is great too :-)

this place has really nice fresh food. its really cheap as well. the downside is that it is sooo busy. the service is pretty much non existent. you have to get your own water and don't expect much attention. however they have a slurpee machine up the back and you can get as many as you want for free. i would suggest ordering the second you sit down. if you wait to peruse there will be no one coming over to check on you.

I don't actually think it's that cheap. Many of the other dumpling places I go to are much cheaper. The food is good though

A typical dumpling house. Very frantic pace, people in and out quickly. The vegetarian dumplings and noodle soup were simply amazing! Service slap dash as with most dumpling houses, to be expected. But food is on top of most.

Upon visiting Victoria, I was coaxed to go to this place for a quick and different lunch. I think the proverb," YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR" applies here. I have no problem with this place. Quick and easy as you come through the door to be seated. The food was with us in ten minutes. Pork dumplings and saucy fried noodles for the kids and nan had the chicken wanton soup with about 10 tiny pork filled wantons and clear liquid with salty flavour and one special fried rice with no salt. The rice place was $10 which is more than most chinese restaurants charge back home. The kids did the colour sloshy drink and the bill for 4 was $38. Not my favourite but not beyond redemption for a different taste for a lunch.

Unlimited free Slurpees and chinese tea already means that they get a 4 star in value from me because that means a savings on buying drinks which at any other restaurant can run into about $3-$5 per person.
The food here is on the better side of average, but as a restaurant that boasts about their dumplings, I found them quite disappointing. Hubby fancies himself a bit of a Shanghai Dumpling (Shao long bao) connoisseur and he reckons this place has a below average offering of that dish.
The menu is not very innovative, the usual noodle and rice dishes that one can get in any Chinese food stall at a food court but I have not had any reason to complain about my orders.
I've always made my way straight to their upstairs serving area where there is a much smaller customer to staff ratio. As a result I've never had to wait very long for service. I have noticed that the downstairs area gets pretty crowded and chaotic during dinner times so I can understand why some reviewers have found the service lacking.

Approximate cost: $10

I'm baffled by all the negative comments. Yes, it's called Ra-Ramen, but that doesn't mean it's necessarily a Japanese Ramen restaurant. It's more of a Taiwanese noodle and dumpling cafe, and it delivers on that.

Plus they have free slurpee.

Approximate cost: $11

Poor service and poor quality of food. I've never eaten so bad ramen and salty food before. The dumplings were alright but kind of oily. Can't believe so many people are still visiting it.
Prices are ok only, not that cheap and great. There are better dumpling restaurants and ramen apart from this one.

Approximate cost: $10.00
